What made this hotel great was the staff and how accommodating they were. The AC was not working in the first room I was in so I called the front desk and they were very nice about it and were able to find a room with an AC that worked. The gentlemen that helped me move rooms was an absolute gem. I cannot remember his name but every time I saw him around the hotel he always had a smile and great vibes.

Quiet hotel with efficient service and a great location. The utilities were nice and the Wi-Fi speed was solid. They even have a takeout corner with instant noodles and snacks, which was super convenient. The only downside was that Netflix wasn’t working during our stay. Otherwise, a very pleasant experience!

Had a great & comfortable stay in a corner room. The bed was very comfortable and the room even had a microwave. The gym is basic but was enough for a strength workout. A big thank you to the helpful employee working the front desk on November 5, 2025 at 6am.

This is a great downtown location. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately that downtown piece makes it a noisy location with rooms that don't offer much sound isolation from the busy streets nor between rooms. (Particularly if you have one of those doors to join rooms). I was located near a cleaners supply cabinet and a staff stairwell access. This was ok during the day but I found door slams in the night unhelpful. The aircon would not cool below 22 degrees C which made it uncomfortable for sleeping (for me). The room was in good overall condition. Lughting, like almost all older hotels, was not very bright. Good bathroom ventilation, water hot, shower pressure ok. Plenty of useful power outlets. Bed ok, pillows ok

Two major takeaways from this location were that the entire room was not vacuumed, as there was visible dirt everywhere. I had to wear my flip-flops to not dirty my feet. I noticed other reviews stating the same issue of cleanliness, with the hotel responding stating the issue would be fixed. Clearly this issue was never remedied.
As well, the bigger point, the bathroom reeked of stale urine. To the extent that any time I went the bathroom I had to hold my breath or cover my nose with my shirt. I kept the bathroom door closed during my visit to limit the stench entering the bedroom. The smell was so pungent that even running the bathroom fan didn’t help. I took only one shower there during my several day stay, as I couldn’t stand the smell, I suppose it’s a good way for them to keep the water bill down lol.
