I have a really poor experience with Hilton bramd across the US and this was not an exception
Poor cleaning services (stains on the glassed, surfaces weren't wiped at all - I stayed for a week) , hairdryer was old - see photos
Bed duvet/comforter was dirty (I reported it and was told they changed it)
Bes sheets must have been polyester as I slept really bad there
There was no space for a suitcase so I had to keep it half closed.
This was a disappointment for 2900$ per week (no breakfast, just the room)
I provided feedback and received an autogenerated general message with thanks so I decided to share my experience here as well.

I’ve stayed for 5 nights. I met a wired things there. This hotel does provide toothpastes but you have to ask. When I asked for it at first night, they gave me a toothbrush and toothpaste kit. However, the toothpaste is an unusual package, it was a “sheet”, which I almost finished in one day. So, I asked for another 4 packages, since I stay by myself. (However, the max capacity of the room is 2 people) But, the room service guy refused me. He said 5 packages are too much, so, he only gave me another 2 toothpaste. I have no idea if this is an invisible racial discrimination or prejudice against female. This experience made me so uncomfortable. I'm staying in a hotel where toothpaste should be used sparingly.

Stayed at Hilton Vancouver Downtown and overall had a solid stay with a few annoyances.
Self-parking was $39 CAD. Front desk and bar staff were very friendly and efficient. There was live music at the bar on Saturday night, which was a nice touch and gave the space a fun vibe.
Elevators move fast after you get in, but there are only two for the number of floors. I waited 2 to 3 minutes multiple times for one to arrive.
The gym being 24 hours is a big plus. The pool and hot tub close at 10 PM, which is fine, but I was disappointed that I was locked out at 9:50. What made it more annoying was being unable to access the pool area while I could still see kids splashing around inside.
Location is great. Less than a 20-minute walk to the waterfront and under 15 minutes to the Steam Clock. The room was clean, the mini fridge was reasonably priced, and our city view was great. Double queen beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean with a separate shower and bathtub. The tub ended up saving the night since pool access was cut early. No bubble bath provided, but the body wash worked just fine.
Good stay overall. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and a convenient location. The pool access timing and elevator setup kept this from being a 5-star stay.

Overall, everything was good and at first glance everything looks great, but there were a few issues: some staff members should be more attentive to hotel guests. In room 407, the bathroom faucet in the bathtub is coming loose. The hotel app that guests use doesn’t always work properly.
P.S. The pool area is beautifully designed.
