AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE After a twelve hour journey from the UK my sister tried to check into this hotel late at night. The grotty little man at reception would not allow her to check in because she did not have a Canadian credit card to pay the security deposit. It would be obvious to anyone with half a brain that she would not have a Canadian credit card as a UK resident. He would not accept cash, he would not accept a bank transfer, he would not even accept her debit card which she had used to pay for the room. In desperation she phoned me in the UK - he would not accept my credit card either, nor the credit card details of her Canadian friends. He then proceeded to kick this young woman out onto the streets at 1am by herself. He refused to give her a refund for the hotel room and didn’t even refund her parking. This disgusting goblin should be ashamed of himself and I look forward to when this terrible business inevitably goes under.

We are travelling with a highschool sports team. After reading the review about a man entering the room in the middle of the night, I requested a cot so I could sleep in the room with my female athletes, as I didn’t feel comfortable knowing that was a possibility. At first, the man at the front desk said they didn’t have cots. Then we brought something that said that they did have cots to his attention, and asked again. So he said he could have one brought up in the morning. Then he called the room and said that they didn’t have bedding to go with the cot. He was extremely rude and abrasive throughout each exchange. We tried to get out of our booking through Expedia, as we didn’t feel comfortable spending the rest of our trip at this hotel, and he told them that the reason we couldn’t have a cot was that we already had two double beds. Why lie multiple times? Besides that, the room was dirty, large gross bugs found in the sink, the outlets didn’t work, and the noise from the street is unbearable. 50$ for parking is outrageous. In a lot of responses from the staff, they say that they wish these issues were brought to their attention during the stay, but the man at the front desk was so unfriendly and unhelpful and rude, that I’m sure it would have just made our stay worse. The woman that checked us in was kind though, if it was her that we dealt with the whole time, the rating might be higher, but probably not. Garbage establishment. We’re 1 night in to our 3 night stay, and really dreading the next two nights. We will never stay here again, and really question any best western in the future. No response necessary.

Shuttle service was a 10/10. They seemed to have a pretty bad ant infestation, we stayed on the fourth floor and they were swarming in the hallway. So i cannot imagine the other floors. Rooms were just okay. Would definitely not stay again. Only benefit is being so close to the airport.

The handicap room is not suitable. The shower is in a full bathtub,, very difficult if not impossible to get into. There is a stool to sit on, not a chair with a back. The toilet has a plastic contraption on top of it to raise it up. They need to install a tall toilet instead of the current situation. The towel rack is at eye level and has sharp corners. I am in a wheelchair and have stayed in many handicapped rooms. This is the least suitable of them all. The Best Western needs to do better.

Loved my stay here! A very pleasant room I stayed in. The shower was nice and the bathroom has a toilet too, I thought by "shower only" they meant shared toilets. Lol 😂 the blow dryer was really good too, the staff was really accommodating, I was able to check in early and also get a shuttler later in the day, and was able to leave my luggage with them. The white spot restaurant attached to the hotel, was also really nice, delicious food and beer! Highly recommend staying here. The only thing that would make this hotel even better would be an indoor hot tub/pool.
