  Wonderful hotel with a central location, late check out option beyond 12pm and dog friendly!!! P.s. Old window unit AC sounds like a tractor, but if you need noise to sleep its excellent :)

  I grew up in Vancouver and now live in Florida...So knowing the city I am aware of all of the amazing hotels but to my surprise I now only recommmend the Plus Sands Hotel. Its honestly nothing to look at from the outside...but the renovated rooms are awesome...feels like a Marriot Hotel! Can't beat that! I stayed there only one night and Tony at the desk was a wonderful host and saw how exhausted I was arriving late and upgraded me to a ocean view room which was so amazing having a balcony. He had no idea I was there on the night of my Birthday...So I got to wake up to the gorgeous ocean and beach for my special day! English Bay is one of the friendliest and safest places in the city! Thanks Tony! I will never forget you! You were amazing!

  We had a good stay! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location close to Stanley park and public transport is great. We stayed on the first floor in a room towards the street and the windows sadly didn’t filter out neither noises nor smells, so smells of Marihuana wafted in at night when we went to bed 👀 other than that, it was fine 🤗

  Newly renovated and extremely clean bathroom. Perfect location if you want to do all the touristy things in Vancouver. Walking distance to Stanley park and bike rentals. Walking distance to aquabus for Granville island. Like other reviews you absolutely can hear everything going on outside on the street so if you like quiet when you sleep definitely take that into consideration. The only downside was that the tv is very outdated, a lot of the channels aren’t available and it’s not a smart tv so no apps. Not a huge deal but I enjoy falling asleep with the tv on so that kind of bummed me out. Front desk staff were always so friendly and helpful.

  Tried 2 rooms. 🐁 in both. We checked out after 2 nights of trying to make the best of it. Loud noise from outdoor street partying and shouting. AC was loud and inadequate to cool room with full sun. TV had to be serviced once. Staff try very hard to be helpful and make up for the many negatives but unfortunately this is a ⭐️ hotel and should be avoided. We’ve travelled globally and this is possibly the worst 🇨🇦 hotel we’ve stayed at. *Google profile photos include very old images from hotel which appear to be from when it was last renovated or views or buildings that are not this hotel. It is very misleading and does NOT reflect its current condition or surroundings
