  First room still needed cleaning and a few other things called the front desk no problem at all they gave us a new really nice clean room awesome customer service and great location 👍👍👍

  My booking site failed to make my reservation but the owners at the Sure Stay Best Western in Smithers had room for us and were friendly and helpful even at our very late arrival time. We got a nicely renovated room and the customer service was excellent. We will stay here again!

  The good: The building is currently under renovation so they are making big improvements, the room was pretty clean although it had some renovation dust, the beds where spotless ( I always check for bedb$gs before bring in my stuff) also the beds are VERY COMFORTABLE! Soundproofing was pretty good to hardly heard another guest, coffee machine is great. The less good: the reno work isn't great definitely rushed and on the cheap (understandable it cost a fortune to do that many rooms), our room had over spray from painting on the bathroom floor, tub, light switches, rug, there was a gap where you could see the back parking lot above the heat pump, the complementary breakfast seems to be always out of something and the pancake machine is pretty much nfg whole stay think I got 2 out of it before it would ask for help, parking lot is very rough needs to be paved (very expensive) Overall it was a good experience definitely a good value and the staff are kind.

  Going through renovations so it's changed alot since the last few years. Rooms are clean, comfy beds, and staff are nice but the free breakfast sucks. Even at 6am, the pancake machine is always empty and takes staff 15 minutes to refill, at that time there's a line up and not worth the wait, everyday walking in and needing to ask the staff to restock the supplies because theres nothing there. The dishes so we have somthing to eat on, the milk, muffins, pancake mix (if someone already hasent) and even the cups to drink what little juice there is.

  I had an amazing experience at this hotel from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect — friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the little touches that make you feel right at home. The location is convenient, and the atmosphere is peaceful — ideal for both business and relaxation. I also really appreciated the attention to detail in every part of the property, from the cleanliness of common areas to the quality of breakfast and amenities. You can tell the management truly cares about guest satisfaction. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!
