I booked this hotel located in Sidney, British Columbia from Vernon, British Columbia. I was quoted $215 dollars plus taxes, they did not specify in CAD or USD. When I checked in, the reception clerk confirmed the quote was in $215 CAD plus taxes for a total of $240. However when I got my visa statement they charged me in USD which converted to 340.50 Can. An increase of $99.30 over the quote. Almost $100 more! When I called this hotel directly they refused to help me. I then contacted Best Western Customer Service and again they refused to acknowledge their mistake and refused to refund me the difference. I felt like this was a huge SCAM! So beware!!

A good quality about this hotel is the staff care about their guests. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. They offer assorted teas with a kettle in the room which I appreciate. Excellent location for the airport, it only took me five minutes to get to my flight. I will definitely stay here again when I'm back at the island. Thank you!

Rooms are spacious. You pay premium because your close to ferry. Bestwesterns in downtown Victoria consistently have a lower rate.
