  I’m a long-time Best Western Diamond Select Elite Member, and this was one of the most disappointing stays I’ve had with the brand. While the property itself looks well maintained and cared for by ownership, the service, cleanliness, and staff attitude were far below Best Western standards. At check-in, I was asked for a deposit. I offered $65 for the night (above the usual $50 industry standard), explaining that my card was near its daily limit after a full day of travel. The front desk agent refused and showed no flexibility or understanding. His comment afterward — “maybe the manager might have accepted it” — only made things worse. After a long day on the road, that experience ruined the tone of the stay. As an elite member, I wasn’t offered the complimentary waters and had to ask. I also wasn’t told that free laundry soap was available in the laundry room, so I bought some unnecessarily and then had to go across the street for change. Small details like that add up when you’re already tired. The room itself was not properly cleaned — there were empty toilet paper rolls in the bathroom, and the floors were so dirty that my socks turned black after walking on them. That was shocking for a property that otherwise looks nice from the outside. It’s now been five business days since checkout, and the deposit hold still hasn’t been released — something that usually clears within 48 hours. My bank confirmed the delay is on the hotel’s end. This stay was meant to test the hotel for potential use by my company’s work crews, but based on this experience, I won’t be adding it to our approved list. The property has potential, but the front-line staff, housekeeping standards, and lack of guest care completely ruined the experience. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously — it’s sad to see such a nice property let down by poor service and training.

  Gorgeous location. Family has been coming here since my girls were toddlers. So many great things about this hotel that it's hard to fit it all into one review. - Excellent service. Staff have always been friendly and hardworking. In my most recent visit, I forgot my toothbrush, so had to ask the front desk for one. I don't even know what brand it is, but it's a damn good toothbrush. - HUGE pool. They used to have floats but don't anymore, which I am sad but not hugely disappointed with. This is not your average pool, it spans a huge room and has a deep end that my girls have always loved swimming in. Highlight of our visit every time. - Extremely clean. No matter what time of year I come, the sheets, bathroom, and overall entire hotel is nearly spotless, which is why this location is my favourite when travelling.

  Loved our stay. Clean, modern room. Great location and quiet. Came with am amazing breakfast. Am staying here again
