    Great front desk staff (name?) and management (Saurya) when checking in. Very helpful with sorting out a misunderstanding of their policies. Would stay again. Room clean and welcoming. Assured we would have help with wake-up call and luggage handling. 5 stars for service. Thank you

    I would have given this hotel a higher mark, unfortunately, my experience at checkout was very disappointing and overshadowed the stay. I was traveling with a lot of luggage and I asked if someone could bring a luggage cart up to my room for checkout so I wouldn’t have to make multiple trips. I was asked to wait, but after some time I was told that no one was available to help. When I went down to the lobby myself, there were several people at reception, including one staff member simply standing idle, which made the refusal hard to understand. I have to go up and down 3 times. I was so stressed out that in my haste I even forgot my charger which was still in socket. Additionally, the body wash dispenser in the room was empty. Even after requesting housekeeping, this was not checked or refilled, which suggests a lack of attention to basic room details. Due to the lack of assistance and poor follow-through on simple requests, I would not recommend this hotel. Future guests may have a better experience at the Coast hotel located directly behind this property.

    I received outstanding service during my stay. My room, #106, was clean and satisfactory, although I only stayed for one night. Regrettably, the bright lights outside made it challenging to sleep, as the room did not have thick, dark curtains. However, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The on-site restaurant offered good food and excellent service.

    We had an absolutely terrible stay with our family. We were in a family suit that is not only not accessible for families (hear: there are stairs after the elevator so strollers need to be carried), but there was a 1.5 in gap under the door so we had to use all the bath towels to block the door for privacy. In addition to this the AC did not work. Upon letting the hotel know and requesting new towels nothing came. We had to request them multiple times. So our children were not able to be bathed. Only after investigating even further the next day about the AC we were told no one was available to fix it until the 3rd day of our 4 night stay. Upon requesting to move rooms we were told a room was ready for us anytime we got back. Well our kids needed naps so we drove back to go to our new room only to be told it wouldn’t be ready until the evening. We had to push to get the front desk agent to make it a priority. Our new room took us over an hour to move to since once again there are stairs back to the elevator and even more stairs after the elevator to the new family room. We lost almost an entire day due to incompetence in communication by staff. Our new room had working AC and a door stop at the bottom to block the gap in the door. Unfortunately the bathroom was dirty. There was visible dirt and hair from previous guests in bathroom. There was also peeling paint in multiple places. Upon speaking with the general manager we were unable to come to agreeable compensation for the disastrous visit. (Parking is a whole different issue. We got sent to an overflow parking lot at night that the front desk agent was only partially sure we were in the right spot and I had to wait over 45 minutes to speak to them since there was no staff available). The most they would do was a gift card to best western for 1 nights stay. In summary: DO NOT stay if you have children. Do not stay if you want guaranteed parking: DO NOT stay if you value your time talking to staff and expecting prompt service. Save your money and go down the road.
