- KHKurtis HemmerlingDec 29, 20252.0We stayed in room 417 on Dec.27th 2025. It is the penthouse room with jacuzzi tub. A few things needed repair such as the jacuzzi not working but the staff was really good and adjusted the price slightly. The problem was with the cleanliness. On the counter was a lighter and some change which made me think someone was still in the room. Then I opened the fridge and it stunk bad. Take out food, eggs, OJ and other items that spoiled. My wife didn't want to make a fuss but I feel its fair that when you pay this much for a high-end room, it should be clean. I contacted the hotel with their personal email for the Merritt chain and after 2 days no response. The staff there was friendly and great. I give a 1 star for service based on the lack of response to my compliant. And while we were leaving, someone did phone us to say we left food in the fridge. My wife told them it wasn't ours and was gross. So they are aware of the situation.

The rooms were really nice and well kept, and the beds were super comfy — we both had the best sleep. The area was quiet, the location felt secure, and there was plenty of great parking, which made everything easier after a long day. Highly recommend.
