    Our family stayed in this hotel but we won't be coming back. Although the room was fine, a few things happened that made our stay uncomfortable. One night I was in the pool and after I swam for a while I noticed there were no towels. There were no staff around so I waited 30 minutes until I flagged someone down and asked him to find someone to help me. I waited another 20 minutes and a staff member finally came but without a towel. She went to find someone else so I waited another 20 minutes until I finally got a towel. That was crazy! The free breakfast was fine, but when we went back in the evening to the restaurant it was a bar. My son being 16 wasn't allowed in so they put us down the hall in a big room with little light and just us there. It was super weird. Once in a while the server would come down there but we didn't enjoy it at all. It's run down and needs a reno too. And lastly, the baseball teams were there and invaded the pool a good part of the time we were there. Staff tried to get the security to come and deal with it but it was just too much. I counted 30 kids in that pool and it was a nightmare dealing with them and their parents.

    Not a bad place. Location is good, easy walking distance to many retail outlets. Was disappointed in the on-site restaurant as it was advertised as family friendly but we were denied entry on my wife's birthday because we had two teenagers. Instead we had to get take out and eat at the lobby. Pool is a pool, hot tub was hot, room was as expected Breakfast buffet is tiny but adequate. Would rank this place slightly above average. Front desk staff were friendly which helped but certainly nothing fantastic.

    I am writing to formally complain about a very disturbing incident that occurred overnight during my stay. At approximately 1:30 AM, someone attempted to enter my room using a key. Thankfully, we had the deadbolt engaged, so they were not successful. When I got up to see who it was, the person immediately took off, which made the situation feel extremely unsafe and alarming. We were shaken and worried someone was trying to break in or cause harm, and it took us a long time to calm down enough to fall back asleep. Then, at approximately 3:30 AM, our door opened again. This time a man stated he was security, which I did not feel comfortable trusting at all given the circumstances. I refused to open the door and told him I would be contacting the manager. He left and returned shortly after, this time knocking with a front desk employee present. The front desk staff stated the room was “supposed to be vacant,” to which I responded that it clearly was not, and this situation was completely unacceptable and should have been taken care of at resonable hours!! They could have even called the room instead! I have managed hotels in the past and I am shocked that any staff member would think it is appropriate to attempt to enter a guest room multiple times, in the middle of the night!! This behaviour is deeply unprofessional and caused significant distress and loss of sleep. It also raises serious concerns about guest safety, security procedures, and room assignment errors. I will be contacting head office regarding this incident.

    I really wanted to like this place. Had great reviews and location is good. Should start with the front desk gal being new and in training. I ask her where our room was and she just said that way. Im glad we drove around and found the closest entrance as it was all the way in the back and a long walk from the front. I Purchased 2 nights on the website for an assessible tub room, as soon as we got to the room we noticed it was a shower and called the front desk, they said they didnt have any tub rooms available. I text them later and they said they did have one but it was too late to switch. We then ran out of toilet paper. Never had a room that only had a half a roll with no extras. I work nights and sleep days and when requesting a late check out I was told it was $50. I paid it and it was approved till 2 pm. The staff then knocked on and opened the door at 11, waking me up. Otherwise, the room was clean, bed comfy. Washer and dryer was close and only $2 each, worked well and didnt need multiple rounds.
