Breakfast is excellent, however the $25 voucher (which I received as an IHG Diamond member) doesn't cover it wholly. It's not the extra $4 I had to pay, but the principle. She came to this Holiday Inn after, and the reception desk initially didn't want to even speak to her, and then said they had no rooms. She asked for suggestions, because she'd just gotten out of the hospital, and they still acted pretty weird. Finally the guy at the desk said it was actually a glitch, and there were rooms. Pretty shameful that a hotel would act like this to a senior citizen in need.
