- KBKendall BeselaereFeb 12, 20264.0If you’re planning to ski/snowboard at Kicking Horse, this is a great place to stay! We stayed over the weekend - checking in on Friday and checking out on Monday. There was a complimentary breakfast with a lot of options to choose from. I also appreciated that they switched up what was offered each day for the meat, eggs and potatoes. The hot tub was nice and hot, the pool was a good temp too. There was never more than 3 groups in there at a time and more often than not, we were the only ones in there. The staff are super friendly and kind, our room was super clean and housekeeping did a great job restocking anything we were low on. Two small considerations - the outlets on the lamps barely held a charge, and although there were tons of outlets on the wall, they weren’t close to the bed. If we wanted to charge our phones by our bed, we had to unplug everything. The water pressure of our shower was great but every few minutes there would be an annoying squeaky, whistling noise coming from the facet - we’d have to jiggle or push down the valve down and pull it back up again. Besides that, we enjoyed our stay and would book here again!
