  Do not stay here. The outside of the hotel and lobby have been updated but the rooms have not. We stayed one night on the first floor and the room was the dirtiest hotel room I have ever stayed at. The sheets smelled like bleach, the floors had dirt and stains all over them and the bathroom was so gross, the shower did not drain due to paper towels or plastic all around the drain. Paid over $250 for one night. Stay somewhere else, the cleanliness of this hotel needs to be looked into.

  The room was very clean and well cared for. Staff were pleasant. Couldn’t plug in our fire stick which was disappointing.

  This hotel is an absolute gem! From the impeccably clean rooms to the outstanding, friendly and professional front desk and housekeeping staff. This location became a home away from home for several months due to house renovations. During this time, timelines unfortunately kept changing and the staff were more than accommodating in extending, and shuffling rooms so we could continue our stay. The rooms were always incredibly clean, fresh (bleached) linens on the beds, no soiled, stained or outdated furniture like most hotels. The lobby, pool and gym were always very well maintained and in good working condition. The only hotel I've seen where housekeeping staff were constantly, vacuuming, mopping and wiping down surfaces through the day. I really can't say enough good things about this location, Management should be extremely proud of the team they have working for them! As I have years of experience in hotel work, I like to think I have an eye for certain details/cleanliness and this hotel exceeded my expectations! If you're visiting Cranbrook, or have a more long-term stay, definitely consider this beautiful location! My only negative is they dont have breakfast for guests, which would be a bonus as the daily rate is a bit expensive. However, they do have the Modern Olive restaurant on site, which serves nice homestyle breakfast options. The location is fairly central to most stores and restaurants, making for easy walking and short drives.

  Pool was freezing cold and the outside temp was 5 C My daughter couldn’t even swim ir enjoy the waterslide which was the only reason we booked this location
