Refusal to cancel 2 rooms even though we were still staying for 3 nights. I have stayed in numerous expresses with a very long relationship to the holiday inn. Truly disappointed with the one in Courtnay BC. One more thing. They like to book loud noisy kids on the top floors. So no, it is not a quiet enjoyable hotel.

But the pool is under maintenance Unfortunately. Staffs are friendly and very helpful. Room looks clean. The bathroom needs airing out I think as upon entering it smells like it was not fresh ( perhaps the curtain in the tub ) I'm very particular with it so I know the smell lol... But will still book the next time as my kids love staying there and it was a friendly environment :)..

The rooms are quite large with some extra living room space even in a room with two beds and would be very comfortable for 4 people.

Although there was an issue with our reservation made through Booking (they didn't receive the confirmation), he immediately took the initiative to resolve the problem. His professionalism and willingness to help turned what could have been an uncomfortable situation into a completely positive experience. Thanks to his management, our stay was very pleasant and we felt extremely well taken care of. Without a doubt, his attitude makes all the difference and deserves to be recognized.

Since the hotel is quite new, everything feels modern and the cleanliness was 10/10 throughout our room and the common areas. A huge thank you to the team for the incredible hospitality; everyone we met was kind and helpful. We also really appreciated the amenities—the Express Start breakfast was a great way to fuel up before our day, and the pool was a hit with the kids. We are already looking forward to returning for many more weekends and ski seasons!
