  We have stayed here a few times and concluded that this is the best Holiday Inn Express we’ve stayed at! We’ve travelled quite a bit and had stayed at different IHG Hotel and Holiday Inn Express at different locations! But this is the best hotel all around! Great, clean room, best services - Courteous staff who did their best to make your stay Comfortable! An unbeatable location - right across from skytrain and next to the Metropolis (a huge hopping mall) and a decent Chinese restaurants which open till midnight right next to the hotel! This has became our favorite hotel In the greater Vancouver, BC area!

  This hotel had a homey feel in it. We were greeted by warm smiles and kindness. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal, well stocked and cleaned

  Next to metro town and connected by a covered walkway too. We chose the spacious room and it was great. We had sports equipment and umbrellas to open and dry. Lots of space. Room was clean and bed was very comfy though tall. Tv wouldn't let me cast Netflix but YouTube worked. Really the room was great. Only 2 negatives were that the door would slam closed if we didn't hold it, and the shower head is really really low. Anyone over 5'6" would have to bend to wash their hair.

  Such a wonderful location right by the mall our truck also fit in the underground parking so convenient and the staff was extremely helpful!!

  We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Holiday Inn Metrotown. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and professional. We were checked in quickly and given bottled water for our room. There is plenty of free underground parking and the hotel is in walking distance to Metropolis Mall as well as lots of restaurants and the sky train is right across the street. The location is close to downtown Vancouver but not as busy. It’s a great jumping-off point if you’re touring around greater Vancouver. When we got into our room, we found a card from the manager (Scott Johnson) welcoming us to the hotel as well as some fresh fruit and treats to enjoy, all for free! This is a really nice touch and makes guests feel appreciated. The room was spacious, clean and had a fridge and coffee bar with a Keurig machine, along with a microwave. As usual for IHG hotels, there were both firm and soft pillows and comfortable beds. This hotel also has a heated outdoor pool (people were swimming in the pool in January! The breakfast bar was the best one we have ever seen at any IHG hotel in Canada. It had scrambled and cheese omelet eggs, a pancake machine, bacon and pork sausage, turkey sausage and potatoes, oatmeal, congee, several yogurt options, fresh fruit, fresh veggies and hummus, cereal, standard bread selection, pastries, muffins, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juices and they even had “to go” bags to take some items with you. The staff are super friendly and they even come around to refill your water. One morning, we had to leave before the breakfast bar opened and they had breakfast bags prepared to take with us which included a slice of banana bread, an apple, a bottle of apple juice, a granola bar and some napkins; this was a really nice touch. The hotel is a great place to stay and we will be staying again. I do want to mention that there is some noise from the Sky Train and the vehicle traffic but it wasn’t any bother to us. They do provide a white noise machine and earplugs if anyone is particularly sensitive to noise.
