when i book with hilton i expect a great stay but i dont think ive ever had a more disappointing moment.
i bought a brand new swimsuit the same day that i heard that this location offered a swimming pool and hot tub. i go to the pool and open the door to almost immediately get soaked with water due to the fact there were at least 8 kids yelling, sloshing, and diving into the pool screaming nonsense.
genuinely i have never seen a pool lose so much water, it was baffling that at 9:00PM where i anticipate a relaxing evening i am met with this.
then, i look over to the hot tub. kids are lined shoulder to shoulder in the murky water. i check the other hot tub that is un lit for some unknown reason and i genuinely get jump scared by the fact that there are just people sitting around in the dark drinking in silence.
sure, there is no lifeguard, pool service, etc. but it is well into the night, i want to enjoy my stay and im left with this. i am floored, unsure if i will book with hilton again after this experience.

I, would highly recommend Hilton Metrotown to anyone looking for the perfect venue for weddings, receptions, corporate events, or family celebrations. Great ballroom and most all the banquet staff are very hardworking, friendly and focused in what they do. Chefs even came out to make sure everything is served well. Amazing!

The bed wasn’t very comfortable, and the room was quite noisy. Both neighboring rooms had their TVs on very loud, almost like a party. One of them kept it going until around 1 a.m., and I actually had to sleep with headphones on. Then early in the morning, there was a lot of noise from doors opening and people talking in the hallway. Overall, it was not a restful stay.

We really had a great stay!! the front desk staff were very friendly, and the rooms were super clean. They even upgraded my room to a suite because I’m a Diamond member!! But I am extremely disappointed and honestly furious about how Angelica, the lady working at the Executive Lounge, treated us. She was completely unfriendly, and we felt so unwelcome. I was just trying to put some eggs on my plate, and a little bit accidentally spilled out of the egg tray, just a tiny bit! Then she came over with an attitude and said, “What happened here?” and “Be careful guys, I still have a lot of guests coming.” Those were her exact words! Seriously? We didn’t even do anything wrong!! it was just a small spill! The way she talked to us was rude and unprofessional. I can’t believe this is how she treats Diamond members. After all the great service from the front desk and housekeeping, this completely ruined our experience that morning. I am really, really upset about how we were treated!!! this is unacceptable

It is in a great location, and that was very handy. I do usually stay at the Hyatt or Paradox when in town, but I decided to try the Hilton this time.
Pros: location, friendly staff, nice view, great restaurant, convenience shopping area downstairs. Didn’t get a chance to try the amenities but they look nice.
Cons: older tv that doesn’t have a lot of apps or screen sharing, so that was kind of boring
Ordered room service and dinner came on a tray, but when I ordered breakfast it came on a take out bag so it was awkward to eat.
The thing I really didn’t enjoy is the bathroom. The wallpaper was peeling at the edges and the grout was disgusting. Stains on the ceiling and the vent was dusty.
Over all it felt like staying at a Holiday Inn, it was nothing special, but it’s comfortable.
