Our flight from Abbotsford was rescheduled for another day, so we booked a one-night stay at Best Western Plus Regency Inn. What an amazing experience it was!!! The staff is super friendly and accommodating, and the amenities are fantastic! I would give 10 stars for the service if I could! We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

We had one of the most frustrating experiences we've ever had a hotel.
We won a certificate for a night in an online auction. This included a 2 pm check out time. Starting at 9 am, people with keys attempted to enter our room (always use that swinging arm lock on your room.) Just after 11, someone unlocked our door again and tried to enter. She yelled at us that we needed to check out. I replied that we have late check out. No apology, just silence. She didn't even close the door properly, so it was cracked open.
Then, at noon, the front desk called to ask when we were checking out.
How hard is it for these people to do their jobs? This was supposed to be a romance package where we could get away and relax and it's been more stressful than staying home and trying to sleep in a queen size bed with a Great Dane and 2 cats.
I gave them the certificate upon check in that clearly stated my late check out time (and they repeated it to me upon reserving the room initially)
And I thought the gross couple making out in the pool next to some kids trying to swim was bad. Spoiler: they then moved into the hot tub 2 ft away from us and did the same thing.)
I guess at least the room was clean.

Was a last minute booking. The room was clean and tidy. We have stayed at this one before and have always had good service.
The front desk clerk was polite and answered the questions I had.
I was lucky to get covered parking as this was the Friday(December 4/25)before the massive rains got too massive.
The next morning we went across to the buffet breakfast. As always the Best Westerns I have been to have a great selection. Even my picky teenager had a good breakfast. The staff there were great and made sure that all the hot items were replenished quickly.

We booked a room at a pet friendly hotel, online. We get there and they have no pet rooms. We did try to call, but the run around with the automated phone service was impossible. Did not recognize my confirmation number. They absolutely REFUSE to refund my 200$ and my small dogs sleep in my vehicle. What bullshit service best western Abbotsford. From a guest that travels the entire country. Never again best western

As a Diamond Select Best Western Rewards member, I have consistently chosen Best Western for my business travels. However, I was quite surprised that my recent stay at this location was not up to the standards I typically experience.
Upon arrival, I found the room to be excessively warm, and the air conditioning unit was non-functional. While I understand the seasonal transition may present challenges, the lack of a functioning AC was disappointing. I reported the issue to the front desk and requested an update while I was away. Unfortunately, I received no communication regarding the status of the repair, and upon my return, there was no record of any service having been performed. The AC unit was running, but I later discovered an AC/heat switch located approximately two feet above eye level on the wall. Clearer instructions or a briefing upon check-in would have been helpful.
Additionally, I encountered difficulties with the shower's temperature control, as the hot and cold settings were reversed. The WiFi was also inaccessible using my room number and last name. At that point, I chose not to further trouble the front desk.
While I am unsure if upgraded rooms are available in the main building, the accommodations in the separate building appeared outdated, and the beds were uncomfortably firm. I resorted to using a decorative pillow for additional support.
Regrettably, based on this experience, I will not be staying at this location in the future. I hope this feedback is helpful in improving the guest experience.
