The resort is very nice, has a definite upscale feel to it, many notches up from a typical Holiday Inn. We loved the free coffee and filtered water station in the lobby as well. Our Queen suite room was great, bathroom was large and walk in shower gave it a spa-like feel. We were in building 7000, which seemed much newer/nicer than building 2000 which we went into by accident when we first got there (although we didn't see the rooms in that building). Also loved guest services checking in on us via text and had new hand soap delivered to the room within minutes of texting that we were out. (thanks Guillermo!). Kids really liked the oversized chess set and connect four game near the outdoor pool area. Proximity to GCNP is excellent. Although I'm still giving the hotel five stars, the restaurant experience was below par. They were very understaffed on 3/15/26, and we had to wait 45 mins for a table, then another 45 mins for our food. Not the server's fault, they just need more staff. The food was just ok, and for a family of four with one beer, burgers/fries for each of us (no apps), it was $120 with tip. Seemed a little high, but everything is near the park. One of the local steak restaurants was offering ribeye for $72 (holy literal cow) so our meal price was acceptable lol. Overall the hotel is fantastic, highly recommend.

Trashy…. Black mold growing in fridge, they replaced it but left all the wrappers and paper in it. Hair all over the shower. Should’ve brought a black light cause there’s funky smell moments you walk in. Might as well stayed at the homless shelter. What a joke this place is🤮Read ALL RECENT NEGATIVE REVIEWS before you book not just the overall rating… lesson learned. Let me say, $300 doesn’t get you what it used to these days. At least not here 😒

Very disappointed in this hotel. Beware: if you book through a 3rd party, they try to charge you more when you check in. The manager at the desk asked to see my third party confirmation. He said that it states we will be responsible for additional resort fees. I handed it to him and it DOES NOT state that anywhere. I told him they probably need to work this out with the 3rd party and all they kept telling me is that we need to. The room was not even that nice. We had a slow toilet and I tried several times to get maintenance to come look at it, and nobody came by the time we checked out. Hallways were freezing. In the future, I will stay in Williams. I would rather stay farther from the park than deal with this.

We stayed here on 03/04. The hotel is in a good location outside of the Grand Canyon. This hotel has different buildings, meaning that you have to check in at the main one, but probably your room is in a separate building which was our case, so it make it difficult for moving your stuff. We arrived for check in around 8pm, the front desk staff was friendly. The indoor and outdoor pool- jacuzzi are located in the main building so consider this. First thing that I see at the room was that it didn’t match for what I booked. On the website it was described as king standard with 1 King Bed Standard, Bath Shower Combination (with a picture of a bathtub), Microwave, Minifridge. But it was just a shower, plus the comforter in the bed had a hard stain. Instantly I called the front desk they said we don’t have bathtubs and they offered to change my room due the comforter/ sheets part. I declined to change the room anyway it wasn’t a bath tub there and they sent clean sheets and a thrown blanket. We were laying in the bed and it was a giant light reflecting through the windows straight in your face. The room didn’t have a blackout curtain at all. Had to sleep with that light in our eyes, after a long day traveling and walking the Grand Canyon, we took a T-shirt to cover our eyes. OMG it was the WORSE experience that I ever had in a hotel.

BEWARE: Fraudulent billing practices
I stayed here in July 2025. My stay was fully prepaid via a travel agency (Bedsonline). Seven months later, the hotel unauthorizedly charged my personal credit card for the full room rate again. They are unresponsive to emails and refuse to fix this double-billing. Avoid providing your credit card to this establishment, as they use it as an open bar for their accounting errors months after you leave. Case IHG #10587870703.
Answer:
I have already contacted your team, and IHG Guest Relations (Case #10587870703) is also involved. Your accounting department (R. Begay) has all the details and my Bedsonline prepaid voucher. This is a double charge error on YOUR side. I am waiting for the refund confirmation, not another phone call to a general line. Please process the refund immediately.
Beyond the billing issues, the service was lacking. One morning, we had to wait for nearly an hour just to get a table for breakfast. Between the disorganized restaurant and the accounting errors, the management is clearly overwhelmed. Not the level of service you expect at this price point.
