  Overall my experience was kind of, meh. The brother checking folks in was great, very kind and personable. The room was really in a state of disrepair. At least one window that didn’t lock, boogers on the bed cover, hair in the shower, and various damage throughout the room. When requesting a late checkout, it was very evident that it was quite a taxing request for the lady handling it. I was blessed with a whole extra hour. I wouldn’t recommend this one unless there are no other options.

  My husband needed to be in Tucson for work. Since we live a few hours away, he brought me and our kids along for the week. We checked into our room around 2 on the Monday after Easter. Around 5:30 we realize the room is not cooling off. I call the front desk and no one answers. I call again. No answer. I walk up to the front desk, the agent is in the back and at the counter the phone is off the hook. I’m told they don’t have any rooms like the one we reserved to move us too and maintenance isn’t there. He offers us a floor fan. So I carry the floor fan back to our room. The next morning maintenance comes by and lets me know the AC unit was worked on a few weeks ago, fixed but experiencing the same problem. We will have to move to a different room. We sit there all day waiting for them to move us. They initially gave us a key, I go look at the room and it is not like the room we had reserved. Back to the desk. We finally got moved to another 2 bedroom suite at around 3:00 that day. We were promised points for the AC not working and still have not received those. Even though I have sent 2 emails. Not to mention, the property was filthy. Trash everywhere. I was told it was because of Easter. As of Wednesday afternoon all the trash from the weekend was still laying around. The property definitely needs some TLC

  Great room, very large and clean. Kitchen was nice bonus. Breakfast had a good variety.

  The cons: It was okay. Don’t be fooled by the pool torches, they never turn them on. Also, the pool appeared dirty. I had a tiny dead roach in my room (which is no big deal for Tucson, really..) and all the closet racks were dusty, as well as the floor corners. Also, there was a USED face towel hanging up. I could tell it was used because it had make-up on it. The hallways really stink - like smoky breakfast for many hours and it will stick to your clothes even after you’ve left (this is on the first floor)The air conditioner was super loud when clicking on. There were always people smoking cigarettes in the AM outside by the outer pool area, which was right outside of my window on the first floor so it always stunk. The walls are paper thin and so is the ceiling. The pros: A/C did work great, the room was modern with space to put things and a small table to eat at, had a small full-sized kitchen, the bedding was clean and fresh, toiletries were stocked up, coffeemaker stuff was in room (no Keurig, though) and breakfast was delicious with a great variety (except for one day, when there was one man in the kitchen who only put out two pieces of bacon or eggs at a time) and coffee was ALWAYS available, strong and fresh in the lobby. They also have beer for sale at the front counter which I took advantage of, and the staff is AMAZING and helpful, especially the guy who works late evenings. Parking was really easy and plentiful and the hotel was easy for Uber to find. No airport noise.

  My husband and I have booked here multiple times and normally have a good time but during my last visit, My husband was out of the room and I decided to take a bubble bath because I still had several hours till checkout time. During my bubble bath room service walked in didn’t knock didn’t announce themselves and walked right into the bathroom where I was taking a bath. I didn’t get an apology. The hotel didn’t do anything to make it right just told me that they had already talked to room service about it. I left hours before I was planning to leave embarrassed and livid that my privacy was violated. I was also watching a video on my phone at full volume, so I’m confused as to why room service continue to walk into the room knowing that. Will NEVER book here again.
