  We exclusively stay at Holiday Inn when traveling and our rewards members. We last stayed at this location about a year ago. We were charged $100 deposit among arrival and told it will be returned when we check out and I will make sure of this. I seen post it notes by the check in computer for staff regarding this deposit and took note, these should not be were guest can see them, immediately made me uncomfortable, and concerned about my deposit being refunded. This has never happened at any Holiday Inn we have stayed at, including this one a year ago. The app exclusively states no deposit at this hotel. Problems checking in has my card kept being ran through because the front desk computer was slow, had to show the front desk clerk my banking app were it was charged and that made me very uncomfortable. Hotel is dirty, pool area dirty, elevator floors dirty, 2nd floor hallway smelled like sewer when we arrived and it was overbearing. This was NOT the case a year ago. Hotel needs a deep cleaning everywhere! Went to lobby and asked for a bag for dirty clothes which used to be in the rooms and was handed about a 5-6 inch clear trash bag that might fit a pair of socks! Hotel is very run down from a year ago, what happened? Will finish our stay but unfortunately will not stay at this particular Holiday Inn again, disappointing because it was my favorite when coming to Marana/Tucson area. Did get the hotel managers business card and plan to email him.

  We stayed March 31-April 1 2026 We received a warm welcome by Viviana who went above and beyond to help us with our reservation. I had recently added the IHG app and had some difficulty making the reservation under the flex one rate. We are from Canada and the rate I was seeing was in Canadian dollars, but the conversion was not adding up with the US$ rates online. Viviana sorted it out. I was very grateful for her help and patience. The bed was comfy, blankets, pillows and towels were all great and the hotel is very clean. The staff are all friendly and work hard especially Viviana and the very kind man in the breakfast room. Breakfast was also the best we have had at a hotel in a long time. Great selection and the gentleman heard me looking for fruit and brought me a nice selection. Thank you for a great stay, we will be back for sure.

  The hospitality team does a wonderful job! Francisco prepares the best hotel breakfast that I’ve ever had.
