  Excellent Service and Comfortable Stay My stay at the Holiday Inn in the Marana/Tucson area was a complete contrast to other experiences I’ve had while traveling. From check-in to check-out, the staff was professional, welcoming, and helpful. The front desk agent was friendly and efficient, making the check-in process smooth and stress-free. After a long drive, that kind of service really matters. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, which made it easy to rest and recharge. The hotel itself was well maintained, and everything was exactly as advertised. I felt valued as a guest, and the overall atmosphere was calm and pleasant. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this location to anyone traveling through the Marana/Tucson area—especially if you’re looking for reliable service and a comfortable place to rest.

  We are Platinum members of IHG Rewards, and we have always been accustomed to staying at the Holiday Inn in Green Valley, as well as other locations, because they consistently offer excellent quality and service. To begin with, upon arrival and during check in, we were asked to make a one hundred dollar deposit as a guarantee against theft, with the explanation that theft is common at that particular location. We have never been asked for any type of deposit at any other Holiday Inn. Additionally, at checkout, the front desk agent completely forgot to return the money to us, and we had to remind them of the oversight. We also noticed an overall lack of services, something that has never happened at any Holiday Inn we have stayed at. The coffee machine was malfunctioning, and there were no contingency options available, such as a coffee pot. In general, having machines that take so long to prepare coffee in an area frequented by older adults makes them quite difficult to use. The gym also did not have any towels available. Finally, and most importantly, we never received housekeeping service throughout our entire stay, despite requesting it and repeatedly reminding staff of our room number and our desire for daily service. We had to go down to the front desk, and the only response we received was that they had provided us with extra toilet paper and towels, nothing more. There was no compensation or meaningful support offered. One pays a significant amount expecting high quality service, and we were also required to leave a one hundred dollar deposit, yet we received only a brief and dismissive response. Honestly, this location leaves much to be desired despite its location, and we will continue to stay at the Green Valley Holiday Inn instead.
