    Very clean hotel and rooms. Conveniently located to a shopping area and in close proximity to I-10. Continental breakfast had a good variety of items. I didn't use the pool or fitness area while there. However, the pool area and was clean and the fitness area had the standard equipment, which was in good condition.

    Beware, our room smelled of dog. I was told by front desk that " the whole hotel is pet rooms" they were able to move us to a room that smelled less bad, so we were grateful for that.

    We always stay at Hampton hotels. This one was nice but had a few issues and a few regular annoyances. First, in our room 401, there was a constant noise in the bathroom. I could not tell if it was an air noise or an endless water supply noise. Definitely something in the walls. Fortunately, with the bathroom door closed, a noise machine and earplugs, I slept through it. The internet in this room dropped several times, although reconnected after a couple of minutes. The bed was not the normal Hampton standard. The frame popped at the ends and the mattress was harder than normal. This issue is the same for every Hampton, the bottom sheet does not tuck under the mattress so 1-2 turns and it comes loose. I truly do not understand how this is an issue in every hampton/hilton. Why are you buying sheets that only work on 4" thick mattresses? It baffles me why they can not order sheets to cover at least 12" thick mattress. Breakfast was not great. The bacon one morning was so thin you needed 4-5 slices for it to be normal. You touched it and it shattered like glass into 100 pieces. The egg with cheese was so heavily processed it was inedible. Prices for hotels in this area was high so it made the stay a little more annoying having to pay nearly double what we would normally pay considering all these issues.
