This hotel needs renovation badly. Our room smelled and the furniture was badly soiled. Disgusting!

I paid just under $800 for a 2 night stay, I was very disappointed. The pros, breakfast was good, pool was nice, staff was friendly and beds were comfy enough and it's in a nice enough area. But the cons... room smelled awful like mildew and clogged sink drains/farty, bathroom was tiny and shower was covered in stains and had hair on the wall, stains and hair all over the carpet, tattered curtains like a cat lives there, first floor room had one window that opened to the parking lot without an option to lock it which felt unsafe, and the cherry on top of it all was my toddler found a dayquil pill under the couch, a sharpie marker and dirty fork under the bathroom counter and when I checked under furniture to make sure he didn't find anything else it was filthy, hair, candy, dirt...which tells me it's barely surface level clean. I sucked it up since I had been driving for 16 hours and simply didn't have the energy to go find a new hotel at 9pm but I will NEVER book this hotel again I feel completely ripped off! I've stayed at cleaner hotels on cortaro for a third the price. Don't waste your money like I did!!
Close to our event, difficult to enter/exit off main road. Rear gate should be open for exit onto the side road. Simple but comfortable room. Staff was friendly.

Unfortunately, the condition of the room was unacceptable and did not meet the standards I expect from a Hilton property. Upon entering the room, several issues were immediately noticeable:
The room had a strong, unpleasant odor — a damp, rotten, mildew/stale smell that was present upon arrival.
There were two large, visible stains on the carpet at the room entrance. There did not appear to be any attempt to clean or address them.
The bathtub/shower had sharp cracks that posed a safety risk. We had to be extremely careful while showering to avoid cutting ourselves.
The carpet outside the bathroom was torn, creating a sharp tripping hazard when stepping out of the bathroom.
The queen bed furthest from the front door had a large tear in it, further contributing to the poor condition of the room.
The body wash, conditioner, and shampoo dispensers were empty and had not been refilled.
Upon noticing these issues, I immediately contacted the front desk to report them. The front desk associate stated that she needed to call someone and proceeded to do so with the phone on speaker. During that conversation, the individual on the phone asked how many nights we were staying. When she replied that it was for one night, the individual responded, “Just one?” and advised that an air purifier be placed in the room. No alternative room or meaningful resolution was offered.
This response raised serious concerns for me. It left the impression that because our stay was only one night, the condition of the room and the safety issues were not considered worth fully addressing. I would like clarification as to whether the length of a guest’s stay determines the level of service, room condition, or responsiveness to legitimate concerns, as this is not consistent with the standards or expectations I associate with the Hilton brand.
We had a wonderful time staying in a spacious two-room suite that comfortably accommodated two of us. The suite included two queen-sized beds, which were incredibly comfortable and provided us with our own private space. Conveniently, the suite also came equipped with a microwave and a small refrigerator, making our stay even more enjoyable. The best part of our stay was the complimentary breakfast offered by the hotel. It saved us a significant amount of money on meals, which was a huge bonus for our 11-day vacation. The hotel’s location was also highly convenient. We could drive to our destinations within 20-50 minutes. There were several great restaurants, Trader Joe’s, and shopping malls, all within a five-minute drive.
