Not only did they not give me the room I asked for ( 2 queens and got 1) but the recliner didn't stay reclined. Worse night ever. Would never recommend this place.

Safe, clean, and quiet. Comfortable bed with choice of soft and firm pillows (labeled). Easy check-in. Free washers and dryers for guests. Good showerhead with hot water with good pressure. Only used the fridge, but the kitchette was nice.

Worst IHG experience that I had, especially considering it’s a Christmas night. When entering the room, the AC was set to the lowest temperature possible and was still blowing cold wind, (it’s late December, not freezing in Tucson but was not expecting a cold room). When we mentioned it to the front desk, and they tried to act like this is totally normal, just said, yeah, must have been the room service girl, it’s sweaty work and sometimes they even set it below zero(like that was even possible). To be honest, I was not expecting an apology, but did not like it when they were trying to justify it. We decided to just escape to the Jacuzzi, but were locked out trying to come back inside. The front desk opened the door for us, then tested the keys on the gym door, which worked, and thought it was just that door to the outside pool this is not working. Then we went back to our room, but got locked out again, so went back to the front desk to change keys. The front desk lady, instead of apologizing for any inconvenience it caused, was like“these things happen(which I understand), don’t be frustrated about me or the establishment”. Like I’m not allowed to be frustrated? Me, being cold in my swimming suit, did not want to hear any of this, and just went back to my room, but could hear her complaining to the next customer when I was waiting for the elevator. Real good customer service. Oh, forgot to mention they did not actively recognize my card status either. And after mentioning it, they were like, it doesn’t really do anything here, but we are willing to give you two waters as your “consolation prize”. Consolation prize? Really?

Man, they have treated me so well here. Lots of construction but there is a path to the riverwalk in back. Free coffee, and its good! Washers and Dryer free too, or included in your prices. Just feel like home becuase I can cook here. Well worth it.

We stayed at this Candlewood Suites for the second time this week. (We stayed in May '25 as well). Both times we were pleased with the rooms! The location was convenient and the rooms were clean and really nice. The Front desk staff during both visits were SO great! Very friendly and welcoming. The parking lot was well lit and the entrances were secure. The rates are very reasonable.
