  I guess this is Best western's take on what I call the hotel industries desperate attempt to be hip and trendy with their hotel offerings. I generally despise hotels like this that are are trying too hard to attract hipsters. But I needed a place to stay and this was conveniently located. The rooms were tiny, the front desk staff was almost useless. They had some kind of a counter that ostensively served food and drinks but it was never open when I was there. The room was tidy but I wouldn't call it. Super clean. Other than the convenience of the location for what I was doing there isn't anything really remarkable about this hotel that I can speak about.

  This is not your old Best Western hotel, but a much more upscale feeling place with a lobby AND rooftop bar. It has a nice modern feel to the architecture and decorations. The rooms were a bit unusual in that the bed was not order against one wall, but almost in the middle, against a separator that acted like a bar and desk area. It worked. Service was very friendly and the hotel is located next to downtown Tempe where there are a ton of restaurants and shops in walking distance

  Perfect stay for us. Great location (walked to the Innings Festival). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, quiet and very nicely appointed. Would definitely stay here again.

  Bobby’s lunch lounge has the best sandwich’s and chips! Can’t wait to come in for breakfast soon!

  Staff that we encountered were very kind and upbeat. Bobby in the restaurant was very knowledgeable and helpful with menu selections. He knows his product, promotes and upsells what he can and acknowledged diet restrictions for his clientele. You don't find chain hotel staff like this often. I also encountered a woman who may have been head of housekeeping, Starla or Darla on the elevator. Very kind, welcoming in our conversation. Told us upon exiting the elevator to ask for her if we needed anything. Though when my husband booked this hotel in the Heart of Tempe, I was appreciative, I am thrilled that we stayed here, mostly because the staff was so upbeat, it's clean and while the outside life is busy, I could actually relax here...which I rarely can do in a downtown hotel! THANK YOU!
