  Went for weekend Texas Rangers games with my son. Rooms kind of small with no frills, but was clean, modern, and well taken care of. Everyone was very friendly, professional, courteous, and helpful. Breakfast buffet was kept warm/hot and fresh. No complaints & very happy with our stay. 👍🏻👍🏻

  When I checked in,around 1500 on 1.25.2026 the front desk gave me a key to a room that was already occupied, this security issue is already enough to be setting off alarms. Nearly 24 hours with no hot water. Staff won't do anything about it, got tons of attitude from the long haired guy at the front desk, while trying to explain the situation to him. Like I was making this up, I told him to go run the hot water and see for himself. Blank stares all around from both of the staff at the front desk @ 0530 1.31.2026. The General manager called my room that night and assured me they had gotten the water situation taken care of, but, yet again, on 2.1.2026, no hot water at 0500. Breakfast area doesn't open till 0630, we have work at 0600. Staff won't let you even grab a piece of fruit or a milk, can't use paper plates/napkins, nothing...What a way to treat your diamond members. Homeless/drug users roaming around the premises. Rooms are old/musty. When I checked out on 2.1.2026, the long haired guy at the front desk handed me my receipt I handed him keys to the room and went and got on my flight home. I discovered the next day that they still had me checked in. The long haired guy never checked me out! The woman that helped me sort this issue out around at 1700 on 2.2.2026 was VERY HELPFUL. BEST STAFF MEMBER YET!!! Overall this is not the level of quality you expect from an IHG Hotel, and I suspect it all boils down to the general manager, because, the crazy thing is, the owner of this hotel also owns the Holiday Inn over in Surprise AZ, and that place is fabulous with an amazing staff. I'd stay there instead, it's only a few minutes away.

  Check in was easy. I like how room was clean when we first came. Wish we stayed longer.

  The Garner Hotel is very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a great place to stay. Lynda was especially kind and helped us with everything we needed. Highly recommended
