- AEAmanda Elkoumi5 days ago5.0So I like West Sedona best because it’s not “set up for the tourists” like Upper Sedona is, but not so far out into Oak Creek. So for me, this hotel was perfect. The view from the room is incredible - you wouldn’t expect it for the price you pay. The rooms were spacious, ultra super clean (the bathroom literally sparkled, just wish the shower pressure was a bit higher) and the front desk staff is lovely. Breakfast was included, basic but fine, but more importantly the location is very very convenient. I’d absolutely stay here again!

Asked for extra towels and received them with tons of hair on it and stains on it. Staff at the reception was good every time I went. Free soda and coffee 24*7

Between the free Vortex sodas and the absolutely addicting almond croissants and chocolate filled pastries for breakfast - we will absolutely stay here again if we come back to Sedona. I need to find where they get those almond croissants from..they are so darn good. The only real negatives: Room could have been a little cleaner, not that it was awful, but more time cleaning up the ceiling in the shower area. Also as we got a free soda, the staff member mentioned how they have a fire-pit and they have s'more kits. So we kind of assumed they were free (a different hotel offered free s'more kits). Kids were excited to make s'mores by the fire only to find out it's 5 dollars a kit. Beyond that the marshmallows were really old and hard. So that left a bad taste in our mouths, figuratively and literally.
