  Stayed for 4 nights. Elevator down, pool down. Rooms were not clean at all. Very poor maintained rooms. Good location.

  For an older, medium grade hotel, a $200 hold for incidentals is ridiculous while all the other much newer and nicer Holiday Inn Express' only require a $50 hold. That tied up capital I could've used for parts while on my job site. Instead, I had to use a different card for that. On night 1 was told the pool was closed for "maintenance". Over the 5 days I was there, it was never open. The main elevator didn't work on the first night, but did work for the rest of the time. We had no microwave in our room. There was a microwave in the breakfast area, but the door doesn't open properly. Good luck wrestling your drink or food back out of it. The least they could do is have a working microwave if they're not going to provide one in the room like all the other Holiday Inn Express' do. They haven't yet upgraded their coffee station to the fresh brewed type with the touch screen. On a positive note, the A/C worked great! The beds were comfortable and we slept great. The location was fine and 10 minutes away from our job site. The blonde young woman who checked us in was the friendliest person at the front desk. The patio seating out back near the pool is cushioned and nice... especially in the morning while listening to sparrows, quail, and mockingbirds.

  I have stayed at this place several times over the past year. The front desk personnel are excellent. Great service. My complaint is parking. We stayed here for 5 days. I understand during Arizona Bike Week Parking is not available. But the back of the hotel is filled with big storage containers. Very trashy. The containers take up a lot of parking space. And now the last complaint. I had a picture taken and it was framed. I had placed it on the desk in the room. It came up missing. Not replaceable. Very upsetting. I asked several times about it. Unfortunately the housekeeper doesn’t speak English. And the front desk staff still hasn’t responded.

  I would have given 5 stars if only the one of two elevators stopped working. So my wife and I had to walk further in order to utilize the only working elevator. And There is remodeling going on. But was not mentioned when booking. Also the ice machine on our floor, 3rd floor went belly up.
