The first two sets of front desk people we encountered were incredibly warm, and hospitable. We came on this trip with intention to compare Marriott to Hilton properties. After checking in and coming to our room I told my husband I never want to leave and we'd be switching to Marriott from now on. A few misunderstanding about events (ie location of stargazing was not where it was supposed to be and no one told us it has relocated, but eventually someone waiting the the same area with us realized it was relocated last minute...then the adult only area pool's hot tub did not have the waterfall working and was lukewarm at best and a bit dirty/sandy) but overall had pleasant experiences with staff/location. When on the third day I asked if we could have a later checkout, we definitely got the vibe I was a major inconvenience to them -- it was awkward despite agreeing to pay the extra $75 (mind you, we aren't leveled members so I wasn't expecting it to be free or flexible, it was just an ask on my part...) It just left a bad taste, instead of maybe being excited that we wanted to extend our stay it was clear they did not care to have us there. Based on that, we decided not to pursue spa experiences as we had originally wanted to extend our stay for - decided we would just stick with the pool/room. Housekeeping was knocking on our door at 1:30pm (again, despite paying to have our room until 2pm) - could have been an honest mixup but based on our experience with the front desk in the morning it certainly felt like they were trying to push us out ASAP. Unfortunately our last day experience did not live up to the first two days purely from a front desk experience. As I stated, the first two groups at the front desk were so helpful and warm there was just something about the third day that I felt like a motel 6 would have made me feel more welcome, certainly not a resort with the autograph name tied to it.

I stayed for a few days and I was sick most of the time. The front desk team , David, Yesica, Jennifer , Kyra and Lori were all so kind . They made sure that I was ok, and were there for me throughout the entire stay going above and beyond what would ever be exspected . As a new employee of Hilton myself, I learned a lot Of what stellar hospitality looks and feels like .

Location is great for us. Easy access to hikes and trails and shopping. We had our room serviced and got no towels.......interesting. The staff cleaning, super friendly....the front staff would use a couple more classes in customer service

They’re updating. It needs updating. Better if they told you before you book.
