Smartest thing ever/ if you live in DC Ranch or another North Scottsdale situation- is to suggest overflow guests stay at this hotel. It is beautiful with great artwork, high ceilings - wonderful hospitable staff, and most of all/ some hours of time apart each day instead of being over crowded at your house 24/7.
The restaurant ( lovely outdoor dining with fire pit at dinner) nice breakfasts, are also great.
Then again, it’s a great hotel choice for any traveler. Top notch in every respect.
I feel genuine appreciation.

Beautifully architected hotel, and that's the important part because it's permanent. There are improvements to be done for service but if management makes those fixes it will bump up this hotel from "basic" to "great".
1. Room service knocked on my door twice despite a "do not disturb" sign. Poor attention to detail.
2. Receptionist did not code the keys to the room. Required an extra trip to the lobby for properly coded keys. Again, poor attention to detail.
3. Air vents in the room are dirty and must be cleaned. If the vents are dirty, the whole air system needs to be cleaned.
4. Live music on Friday was a plus but musician too loud for the environment. Management must gauge the volume.
Other than these service related issues the hotel is beautiful with great potential.

I would highly recommend not staying here.....my room was cleaned before my checkout w/out my consent. When I returned to gather my personal belongings prior to checking out, is when I encountered housekeeping in my room. My personal items were no longer there for me to gather which included keys to my vehicle. The response they gave, ' there was nothing in the room.'. So when I return to Florida, I have no way of getting into my vehicle that's currently parked at airport!!!! Compensation for entering/cleaning my room prior to checkout....Zero! Acknowledgement of any wrongdoing, loss of my items, etc....Zero!!! Horrible customer service!!!!! Motel 6 would have been a better choice than this place!!!

Absolutely beautiful complex. Modern, comfortable and great pool area, great design. Large airy lobby and excellent landscaping. But staff was not very friendly or helpful. We were there for Christmas and no one was happy. They seemed annoyed a few times we made special requests, which was the opposite of what a great hotel should be. The coffee in the rooms is terrible, given the quality and price of this place. There is no free coffee or water anywhere. Breakfast is very delicious but pricey.

This is a new establishment and therefore everything is fresh and beautiful. The check in was smooth and staff were friendly and helpful. There is free parking in the nearby parking lot. The hallways are well lit. The room was spacious and had a wonderful view of the mountains. We really enjoyed our brief stay here and will be returning in future.
