This hotel way exceeded our expectations! My daughter and I were in town for an event at the civic center. The hotel was clean and had a great vibe. They were decorated early for Christmas, staring with a walk way adorned with lights that makes you feel like VIP. Each table and couch set on the patio had a Christmas throw blanket. The location was in walking distance to old town, restaurants, and to the civic center and stadium.
The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Mach, in particular, made our stay so special - he was a pleasure to talk with and very considerate.

Worst customer service by the general manager of the place . I prepaid for a room and could not stay due to a sudden family emergency although I knew it was non refundable He refused to give any leeway, future discounts, partial refund, etc. He was a total jerk. Don’t stay at this place and deal with them.

Nice hotel. Conveniently located near food and shops. Nice area to walk. Great ice cream sundae at Sugar Bowl :). Tim checked us in to the hotel and was nice and personable. Made us feel special. Told us about all the hotel amenities, chatted about football and gave us a nice room. The ambiance at the hotel is nice. All the lights made it fun.

Hello,
I wanted to share my recent experience at this hotel. The location was amazing, and I truly loved the rooms and staff. However, the morning of checkout, I leaned on the floating nightstand (which does not have legs) to get up, and it unexpectedly came off the wall. I’m a bit embarrassed to even mention the weight thing , but I informed the front desk. We both laughed it off, and I made sure it was properly noted before leaving.
About a week after our girls’ trip, my friend whose name the room was under noticed an additional $500 charge on her card. I called the hotel to ask about it and was told to call back when the General Manager arrived at 10 a.m. I called back and was told I would get a call back ..never received a call back. I tried that same day and was told he was out until Monday (this was on a Wednesday).
I called again almost a week later (Tuesday) and was told a woman would now be calling back since Mike wasn’t available .Never received a call back.
After several attempts I emailed the hotel (Wednesday a week later) and after an hour I finally received a call back from Mike. When I asked for an explanation of the charges, he said, “Well, you sat on the nightstand, and it’s not a chair.” I was shocked and told him I didn’t sit on it, but he responded, “We can agree to disagree.”
He also accused us of damaging a canvas on the wall, which was untrue, and spoke to me in a very dismissive tone as if we had intentionally damaged the room. I left that conversation feeling extremely disrespected.
What upset me most wasn’t even the $500 charge, but the way I was spoken to and the assumption that I had done something wrong. I mentioned to him that there was no sign or warning about weight limits on the floating nightstand, and his only response was, “In all my years here, I’ve never had one fall, like I said we can agree to disagree.”
Not everyone weighs 100 pounds.. some of us are heavier and perhaps floating nightstands aren’t the most practical choice for hotel rooms.
Thank you for taking the time to read this
Sincerely,
Lucy A.
