Very disappointing experience. Twice in the same night my room key stopped working, leaving me locked out and having to return to the front desk each time from building 6. When I asked for help, Araceli at the front desk (2am) was dismissive and came across as rude and disrespectful rather than trying to resolve the situation.
After a long day of travel the last thing you want is to be locked out of your room multiple times and feel like you are inconveniencing staff by asking for assistance. The issue itself was frustrating, but the attitude and lack of customer service made the experience much worse.
I expected far better service from a Hilton property.

The hotel as whole seems to be a little run down, but they are making improvements. One pool (the larger/deeper one) was nice. Pool towels were scarce on the weekends. The other pool and the hot tub were very dingy and worn looking. The room was ok…but:
- queen beds were definitely doubles
- pillows were so flat and awful
- the mattresses were uncomfortable
- we stayed 5 nights and literally had to BEG for housekeeping services. We would call daily for towels and they either wouldn’t bring them or only bring 3 (several hours after we called) and we had 4 people in our room. The trash was never taken out unless we did it.
- they did fix the screen door on the balcony, it was off the track when we arrived
The overall location of hotel was nice and central to many areas.

First of all, my husband and I truly loved our experience at this BEAUTIFUL resort. It really was a little much needed paradise for us both, and we want to come back here again! The only reason this is a 4-star review is because of two situations that the hotel should be aware about and will hopefully work to resolve.
1: The bar at the pool is severely understaffed. There should at least be two bartenders working there, especially during busy hours. We only ever saw one, and she was working herself too hard. Don't get me wrong, every single food and drink item we ordered was perfect and delicious. But seeing that employee struggle to keep up just wasn't fair. I'm a nurse so understand the pressure of being short staffed. It says a lot about a hotel if their staff are treated with respect.
2: There was a lot of construction at the resort. Unfortunately, a majority of the construction happened right next to the pool and right behind our room we were assigned to, so my husband and I had a bit more exposure to the harsh noises and smells. It was tolerable, so no complaints were made in person, but I wish he had a warning prior to reservation. Or at least a discount on our room since it was closest to the sounds. Or a new room assignment. The main reason we stayed at this resort was for relaxation at the poolside and for certain hours of the day this was inhibited.
Overall, seriously, we are so grateful for our stay and have no regrets. Thank you for accommodating an early check in. Thank you for creating a stunningly beautiful pool area surrounded by green plants and flowers!

The location can’t be beat!!!
Rooms are dated but acceptable.
The resort fee should be waived due to the current renovation activities.
The shuttle service is definitely very much appreciated and so convenient to use.
The pool areas are very nice 👍.
I would probably stay again. Bu come on…a resort fee for a hotel under construction is unacceptable.
