Spending a week here for spring break and so far everything has been phenomenal. Rooms are great (could use some repainting) and it’s getting closer to the time that furniture gets replaced. Lady at check in was fabulous, super kind and welcoming.
Dinner our first night was chicken and waffles with salad, our kids throughly enjoyed it. Breakfast is about the best of any hotels we’ve stayed at (sausage, premade omelets, Tator tots, make your own waffles, oatmeal and yogurt bar with all the fixings, toppings like shredded cheese, picante, sour cream, toast, bagels, etc and watermelon, bananas and oranges). The pool has been super busy (there must be a youth baseball tourney going on, lots of young kids around plus it’s record breaking temps in Phoenix for this time of year) so we came out first thing in the morning am and the pool attendant even brought us some towels since he hadn’t filled them yet.
I know some mentioned about the location but we’ve never felt unsafe and we’re from small rural Midwest. Location has been
phenomenal as we travel to Apache to see our parents, hit up the spring games at multiple fields, and head to Scottsdale and Glendale. While there’s not much directly nearby, a quick two minute drive up the road gives you some food options. Also the interstate was a non issue for us, we might have heard a car or two (typically motorcycle) but we were located on the side closest to interstate and rarely noticed the noise.
Also used the washer/dryers which are free (they have soap located at the pantry for $2), nearly all were functional, there were 7 washers and 4 dryers so plenty available.
The only issue with our stay was coming home Saturday night after being out all day and sitting at a ballgame in 100+ degree heat and not being able to get a parking spot for over an hour. The school next door had a gala and literally took up every available parking spot in the hotel parking lot plus all the available street parking. Even the workers I was told couldn’t find a place to park. It’s unfortunate that the GM didn’t notify police to at least announce at the Gala that they needed to move vehicles, instead we were left to sit there and wait for the Gala to get over for people to move. We literally circled the hotel for over an hour along with several others only to have the Gala get over finally around 10:30 and 40+ people come over to get in their cars and leave.

We stopped here for a quick overnighter before our flight. The rooms were a little small. We had a room with two queen beds. It did have a microwave and a small refrigerator a decent size TV Wi-Fi. This was the first hotel. I’ve stayed at where the bathrooms had pump stations for hand soap, shampoo conditioner, so that was pretty cool.. the lobby had an area for you to eat, pool table, a lounge area with a , business center fitness area, indoor pool, and a small store at the check-in area that had many selections of food to include premade items and food you could microwave. They also had a continental breakfast in the morning but all day they did have coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and fruit. I would absolutely stay here again.
