    Rooms are very clean with comfortable beds. I love the kitchenette and living room space. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was great with lots of different choices.

    I RARELY give out 1 star reviews but this situation warrants one, especially when a multi-billion dollar company like Hilton can’t make this situation right. I also want to warn anyone else who may be in this situation too. I was given a certificate for a complimentary night at a Homewood property at the standard room rate (“Be My Guest” certificate). The hotel has no “standard rate” when you go online to book, just rates like “flexible”, “semi-flex” and “non-refundable.” I figured the least expensive room/rate is probably the one I’m getting for free so I picked non-refundable. When I presented the certificate, they said because I didn’t book at the standard rate I couldn’t use my certificate. The front desk literally pulled up their computer and said, “Huh, that’s interesting, there is no standard rate.. you would have had to pick Flexible Rate instead.” I asked how would I have known that, he shrugged his shoulders. The manager essentially said they can’t do anything and referred me to a phone number to Hilton. They also said they can’t do anything, and refused to refund me the room cost or even issue me a new Be My Guest certificate. I get that the room is non-refundable, but given that THERE IS NO STANDARD RATE ADVERTISED ONLINE, that is highly deceptive and I’m now essentially out $235.

    Nice hotel. It’s an older hotel but the rooms were impressive. Super big and comfortable. They had a nice size living space, kitchenette and large bedroom with double sink vanity. The continental breakfast was nicely stocked with good selection. Can’t say enough nice things about this hotel. Will definitely stay again.
