I intended to leave an official review through Hiltonโ€™s survey but missed the survey window due to travel. This hotel was a disappointment and a major letdown. While the studio-style room and kitchenette were convenient and the location is excellent for walking around downtown Phoenix, the cleanliness and maintenance issues were significant. The shower was dirty, visibly stained, with rust and dirt built up in the corners. The kitchenette sink leaked, the sink handle repeatedly came off, and the bathroom door was off track and difficult to slide, as if it needed repair or lubrication. The hotel feels basic and convenience-focused, but the condition of the room outweighed the benefits of the location. I would not stay here again.

I came to Arizona as part of our Urbana '25 Missions conference, Dec.28 - Jan. 1st. Upon arrival the valet staff did not hesitate to offer help, I was even informed that, "Tiana will be happy to assist you.". Tiana helped me with check-in and even answered my question about anyone else who may have arrived in my shared room. She was very kind and pleasant, willing to help me in any and every way possible. The bathrooms in the lobby were very clean and the bathrooms in the rooms themselves were nice and clean. But, hol'up, lemme talk about the ventilation in the bathroom. Me and my roommates couldn't figure out if there was a switch for it or if it turned on with the lights because of how quiet the fans are in the ventilation. Back to the lobby and the staff workers: THE BRAKFAST: The breakfast was DA BOMB ๐Ÿ’ฏ!! Listen, idc, it was the same breakfast every morning, but when night hit, I couldn't wait for the next morning. From the waffles to the apple juice and enhanced water. Babeeyy. I filled up my 1L with the apple juice and then I had filled up my cup two or three times with apple juice and mixed in the mango enhanced water. The Sammiches: The Sandwiches are astronomical. The Chorizo in Arizona is actual meat, unlike the fake stuff here in Ohio. As far as food goes, Arizona has Ohio beat. Top tier. The food, the cereal was banging, the yogurt and all the toppings to add into it, and the oatmeal. The oatmeal didn't need any sugar nor honey because the strawberry (actual strawberries) syrup and the raisins did the job. I love the slivered almonds, I added that to the yogurt and the oatmeal. The sausage, egg, and cheese Sammie is good... McDonald's who?, Wendy's who? None of these fast food restaurants have anything on Home2Suites. The eggs you can tell were/are real eggs. They even had the option to make your own sammich. The breakfast was so fulfilling, that I didn't have to eat lunch. THE WAFFLES: The waffles, mmm, you can make them as thick as you want or as thin as you want. On the first day (morning) I had a waffle with strawberry syrup, a sammich, yogurt, cereal, orange juice and apple juice. THE KITCHEM STAFF: Thank you to the cooks and kitchen staff. There was never a shortage of anything. There was a guy with locs who had given me a ziploc bag to pute a sammich in so that I could eat it at night in my hotel room. Jan. 1st, there was an older woman who restocked the utensils and dishes. Everything was done so wonderfully, there weren't any attitudes at all. The staff were happy to do their jobs and to serve their guests. They did it very well. There was a man at the front desk Dec. 31st- Jan. 1st and he was so helpful. I enjoyed talking with him and I had to thank him with some food from Marjele's. The staff and the hotel were wonderful. When I asked for more blankets, they gave it. When I asked Tiana about toilet paper for my room, and if i could leave my luggage with her to try and make it to dinner with my company, she helped me. Overall, superb staff. THE SUITES: They had a kitchenette, listen, I loved that they had a kitchenette, AND WITH A DISHWASHER!!! Thee best ever. Not to mention a pullout couch and curtains. It was very nice. We did have an adjoining room, but there were guys on the other side and I knocked on the door and they came out looking to see who it was knocking at their door, but they couldn't figure out that it was their neighbor, ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ. The beds were so comfortable and I never wanted to come back home. I wish I could have taken the bedset with me. They also had an extra blanket and pillow packet away in the dresser for anyone who slept on the pull-out sofa bed. CONCLUSION: IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO SEE WHICH PLACE IS THE BEST TO STAY WHILE YOU ARE IN PHOENIX, ARIZONA... THE OBVUOUS CHOICE IS HOME2SUITES. THE ONLY THING I WISH THEY HAD AND IT WOULD HAVE DEFINITELY OFFSET THIS TRIP IS A SWIMMING POOL. So, THANK YOU HOME2SUITES FOR YOUR GENEROSITY AND CARE ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

I stayed in this hotel in November with my wife. The first morning we woke up, we found a bed bug in our room. I brought it to the front desk. To their credit, they immediately moved us rooms and apologized. However, the service from there was a disaster at every turn. We were moved into a downgraded room. We had the cleaning people walk in on us the next morning because they did not actually move us into the system in that room. When I went to the front desk twice that weekend, I was told the manager wanted to talk to me. I did not talk to the manager until today (12/17). I was told that Ecolab went through the room and did not find any bed bugs, so was told we did not see a bed bug. I asked them if Ecolab looked at the bed bug I brought down, to which they did not have an answer. I have a photo and video on my phone of the bed bug. I have a friend who works for Plunkett's who is 100% certain this is a bed bug. No one from the hotel or Ecolab has seen these, despite me offering to send them. I made no scene, and simply wanted my rooms comped. I was told the best that could be offered was a 30% discount. I have been a Hilton Diamond member for years, so I can't imagine how the treatment would be for someone with no status.
