While traveling, I had to stay here due to a flight delay. The staff were very friendly, the room was great and I will be planning on staying here if I ever spend more substantial time in Phoenix.

THERE’S NOTHING GOOD ABOUT THIS RESORT BUT THE LOCATION! When we arrived at the front desk the lady was rude as she seemed irritated with the questions me and my wife had about the property. She was being very short and wasn’t providing good feedback about activities during our stay. The room was AWFUL upon entering there were stains all over the carpet and hair on the couch. The bedroom sheets were DISGUSTING they had lots of stains and spots that looked like mold on them. We notified the front desk immediately and they said they would send someone to our room. The guy they sent to our room was from maintenance/operations and he brought us a thin sheet with a brown blanket for us to sleep on. We told him that was unacceptable and called the front desk back. The same guy returns with an attitude to look at the issue and tells my wife “We have a lot of complaints and that he’s not housekeeping,” The next morning we notify the front desk to notify management on duty and nothing happens. Nobody calls us with an update or anything just housekeeping coming in unannounced for fresh towels not fresh bedding. We spent the next two days in the same room with just a brown cover freezing. When we returned from our trip we had to go get checked by our doctor for constant itching and irritation which turned out to be bed bugs. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND OR STAY AND THIS HOTEL AGAIN!

Honestly we were pleasantly surprised at the whole resort. We loved the layout with the winding roads, cliffs and the setting. We were up on the top of the hill so we had a little bridge right out to the mountain in the back so hike on and watch the sunrise and sunset. The rooms were great as well. We were a family of 4 and I chose the 1 bedroom suite. The best part was the living room had doors to close to the hallway. The bedroom had a door to close to the hallway. The bathroom and sink area was in that hallway. So the kids can brush their teeth while someone was in the shower or bathroom. But because you can divide the hall off from the living room and bedroom you do not disturb anyone while someone is sleeping. The sofa bed was great with the two boys on it. 2 tv's one in living room and one in bedroom. By far one of the best layouts. The resort itself was beautiful. It was clean, and the pools were amazing. We spent our downtime at the main pool but there are smaller pools throughout and one adult pool. Water was crystal clear and the pool areas were super clean. I WILL definitely go back next time we are in Phoenix area. It is a 25 min drive from downtown in the heart of the city but so worth it for the scenery and the space. Also if anyone has trouble walking up hills there are golf carts that the hotel will take you anywhere you want to go up to your room, restaurants, pool etc. Amazing experience! Another added bonus was the laundry center. It is included in your stay. Just bring pods, or you can buy from the machine. We went in the dessert ATV and our clothes were filthy. Being able to do a load of laundry was great because we started from zero and did not have to leave to our next destination with tons of dirty clothes. We were heading to the Grand Canyon after our stay in Phoenix for 4 days.

This was the most wonderful and memorable hotel experience I've ever had. Robbie at the front desk was nothing short of amazing and helpful. I told him that it was my girlfriends birthday and he took every step necessary to make it as wonderful and special as he could. I'm blown away not just at the beauty of this hotel but also by the kindness of its staff. I will absolutely be staying here again! Robbie is Awesome!

Overall had a good stay, my mom and I visited for a quick weekend trip. We had an ADA room and the bathroom was pretty dated but functioned well for my mom's needs. This was our first time at this hotel and I didn't realize how hill-y it was until we drove up to our room. Only saw accessible parking near the lobby, and the parking at our building was set up as a "street parking" style on a one-way road, which didn't work for the passenger side of the vehicle because when you open the door, you're stepping into a rock bed. Not ideal for someone who requires use of a walker. We figured out our own solution to get my mom safely to the building. We used the pool at the workout center and it was clean and empty, very relaxing! We ordered breakfast to our room one morning and it arrived at just the right time and everything was still warm and delicious. The surrounding cliffs are beautiful and I would have explored the trails had we been there an additional day. The resort isn't near many attractions, usually had to drive anywhere from 15-30 minutes for activities and shopping. Very quiet stay and we didn't encounter any problems.
