Where to start. This hotel is clearly very old. Came to the room, pull out couch had a horribly thin mattress. My kid complained she could feel the springs. Five people in our room, housekeeping did not refill our TP. The room had cracked siding in the restroom, bathroom sink smelled bad when turned on and had gnats coming out of the drain. AC said the room was 69 but it was HOT. It eventually kicked on later. Got back into the room our third night and the POWER was OUT. Only in our room. Said they wouldn’t be able to come fix it for an hour so I took my kids to the pool. Tiles on the staircase leading the pool were cracked and broken. The pool was not warm so if they say it’s heated I call bs. Saturday night they had a dance, the music shook my walls. We were not given any notice about the dance happening. A warning would have been nice. Overall very frustrating.

Don’t let their claim of “fully renovated” rooms fool you. They put lipstick on a pig. We waited 6 hours in the lobby for our room to be cleaned. Once we finally got to our room, the bathroom floor had hair on it. The fridge didn’t work. There was a booger smeared on the wall. The shampoo was knocked off the shower wall. The lamp didn’t turn on. And the door didn’t seal all the way - there was visible daylight coming in from under our door. Oh, and there was a septic situation in the lobby that smelled lovely while we waited for 6 hours. The manager walked by us no less than a dozen times and never made a point to say anything or check in on us. The entire place needs to be condemned. We ended up getting a refund and leaving. Rebooked at the Grand Hyatt in Scottsdale, which was the best decision we could have made. Don’t waste your time or money with this place.

Hilton, but not here for the stay. Life is hard enough and this was not what I expect from the Hilton name. Mature property that has recently been purchased and renovation ongoing during our stay, but not mentioned on the website. All outside gates were unsecure and anyone could enter the prooerty. We stayed in room 2139. Had trouble opening the room door, as it kept sticking. The room smelled of mildew and new paint. Fingerprints on the walls. Dirty floors. No soap to wash our hands. Broken soap dispenser in the shower with painters tape. Mini fridge not plugged in. Not many electric outlets to plug in our devices. No patio furniture, like the pictures advertised. We decided to try the one restaurant open for food and drink, but it was limited. Asked if we wanted bacon our the burger. 86 bacon. Wanted to order a specialty drink, but they were 86 product. The cheesecake was a finger sliver for $12. Bartender was tired and kept making mistakes. Manager on-site at the bar, but just laughed everything off. Asked to check out late and was told no. Challenging to sleep with the loud noise in the hallways. Woke up with a fresh start and decided to check out the "Starbucks" on-site. Asked if they served the entire Starbucks menu, was told yes, and then was told they couldnt make a basic flat white. Drip coffee was good. Multiple pools on map, but some didnt exist.. Hit the hot tub super early. Dont do that. Band-aids in the hot tub and jets not working. Like, anything that could go wrong.. Did. It was soooooo bad. You cant make this up. This ain't a Friday night fish fry.. Save yourself the catfish, this place is a 40 oz beer can at a champagne price.

My very brief stay (checked in and out within 90 minutes) at the Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak was not merely disappointing, it was a masterclass in how thoroughly a hotel can betray both its brand promise and its guests. This room was advertised as accessible. It was not. A heavy bureau protruded into the doorway by a full six inches, physically narrowing the entry and rendering it non-compliant with even the most basic ADA accessibility standards. Accessibility is not a decorative label, it is a legal and ethical obligation. Here, it was treated like a suggestion. Inside the room, the furniture placement was equally hostile to mobility. Chairs and tables were arranged in a way that obstructed the pathways between the main area, bathroom, and bedroom. We were forced to rearrange the room ourselves just to create a functional passage. To make matters worse, extension cords hung down onto the floor, creating both a hazard and an outright barrier to parts of the room. Accessibility was not just overlooked, it was actively sabotaged by careless design and indifference. And then there was the filth. Grime coated surfaces that should have been cleaned as a matter of routine. The upholstery bore visible stains, plural, and obvious. The tile floor was dirty enough to make you question whether it had been mopped in between uses. There was debris in the bathtub. Tape was stuck to the soffit like a forgotten remnant of some abandoned repair. The mirror had an unidentified substance smeared across it. This was not wear and tear. This was neglect. This was a room that had not been properly cleaned, inspected, or cared for. When I raised these concerns, the manager’s response was not an apology grounded in accountability, but an excuse. I was told, dismissively, that “not all Hiltons are the same,” that they were in the middle of remodeling, and that they were struggling to meet Hilton’s expectations. That statement alone speaks volumes. If this is what it looks like when they are trying to meet expectations, one shudders to imagine what happens when they are not trying at all. Remodeling is not an excuse to endanger guests. Renovation does not justify filth. And difficulty meeting brand standards is not something to confess to a paying customer, it is something to fix before selling the room. This property has reduced the Hilton name from a symbol of reliability to a hollow logo pasted over disorder and disregard. I will never return. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. And I urge anyone who values accessibility, cleanliness, or even the most basic respect as a guest to stay elsewhere.

My family stayed here around easter last year, prior to the renovation project and it was amazing. Yes the rooms and buildings were out dated but all the facilities were functioning and basic amenities were available. I decided to book again for a night this weekend for my daughter and a friend to have some fun for her birthday. I knew the renovations were happening but online and the app claimed the pool and water park were still operating at their normal times. We checked in and made our way to River Ranch only to find out that it was already closed. It was 5pm the app claimed it was open until 7pm. So we headed to the pool instead. There used to be a pool in both the south and north buildings, there is no longer one in the south building (which we were staying in), the kids got into the pool for all of 10 minutes before employees said the pool was closing so they could put chemicals in it. So they tried sun bathing. We were then told we had to vacate the area. So we went back our room, we try to sign into netflix to at least watch a movie. Nope. There are no streaming services available. I feel as though we could have had a much better time at pretty much any other hotel in the area. This has been a complete disappointment. Congratulations on the remodel but guests should be made aware of the change in hours and lack of amenities so they can plan accordingly.
