This trip was incredibly peaceful. Matthew was the one who set up my reservation and he was very kind and considerate with giving me a quiet room as I needed a break from my job and home. Michael and Carly are also very friendly too, and are tentative to their service. The rooms itself are very quiet and the neighbors are quiet as well. I didn’t have any issues with anyone being loud or disruptive. and it stayed like that until I didn’t really enjoy being down for breakfast. The lady there was very sweet at first and was very helpful with informing me on what I could purchase and buy and even helping me prepare my meal, but as it was 7 o’clock in the morning and I was half asleep I just didn’t understand and she snapped at me. and I mean, she said loudly enough where everybody was staring and it was just so awkward and uncomfortable. And I just grabbed my stuff quickly and just walked away very upset. Not to mention as a black woman, I felt very uncomfortable being around other white people who clearly had no respect to keep their eyes to themselves. I mean, all of the white guests were looking at me as if it was the 1900s and it was still whites only. Like i get it, it’s hilton but it’s not just for one race…The amount of dirty looks and judgment that I was receiving was absolutely disturbing and disgusting and it also made me upset too. mind you many of these people had cross necklaces on, which makes no sense how you symbolize Jesus, but don’t show fruits of him or act like him. it’s horrible that we are now in 2025 and we still look down on people because of their skin color or the race or because of stereotypes that society places on people. and anyone can sit here and say we victimize ourselves, but micro aggression is real and there are unfortunately white americans out there who are racist and who do project and are passive aggressive towards us and I won’t be staying here again.

The hotel itself is fine although it is very far away from everything. Our main complaint is that we stayed here for three nights and four days and room service never once cleaned our room and I went down and mentioned it to the receptionist on the second day and they still never cleaned our room once during our entire stay and we had to go down to get more towels and trash bags to do that ourselves. We left our towels outside That were wet and watched the attendant with the cart walk right past And not ask anything about cleaning our room or even pick up the towels. The service was not very good here.
