The room was nice and the restaurant was nice. Bar guy was nice to talk to .My wife and i went out to eat one of the nights and i got food poisoning and that was not good. The lady that front desk told my wife that they were out of medicine was not okay for me as i needed medicine. But gloria went out of her way and came and knocked on the door and gave me medicine. My wife asked if she can give her some money to pay for it and she said no it was on her and she just hopes i fill better. What a sweetheart. This save the trip my wife and i plan. Due to we were gonna leave early cuz of how sick i was. My wife and i wanna thank you gloria. Thanks Hilton for hiring people that truly care. We really had a great time and we will be back again.

It was awful from the start. The desk attendant informed me I was not at the correct "tier" level with Hilton to have complimentary breakfast, so I would have to pay if I wanted a meal. The only other option was to go to Waffle House, which shares the same parking lot at the hotel. Waffle House??? Being that the hotel is in an industrial area of Phoenix, there are NO other options for food within in viewing or walking distance, by which you would have to walk the overpass over Interstate 10 just to find a gas station for any kind of snack. So with that, the hotel is running a racket with making money for breakfast. I go to my room and it smells like urine is soaked into the carpet, so I immediately asked for and received another room. Still running a racket for guests money, there are 2 bottles of water on the countertop with signs advising they are $2.00 a piece if you drink them, unless you are a Hilton member of the correct tier. As hot as Phoenix is anytime of year, guests are being made to pay for water?? What is the other option, brave the heat to walk a half mile across the busy interstate to a gas station for water? Waffle House tap water? The refrigerator was broken, actually it worked but the condenser must have been broken because the unit was sweating water inside. I went to take a shower and the bathroom fan began to hum but not turn on, then I noticed the bathtub was dirty, splashed with paint to cover up something, rusted on the basin (how does a plastic tub basin rust??) and the faucet was falling off the wall. The shower head was green and nasty. THEN, as I am taking a shower, I noticed I was standing in water and it was slowing rising above my ankles because the tub would not drain. Even after getting out of the shower, it took close to 3 minutes for the water to go down. After getting dressed to prepare to leave, the bathroom fan finally kicked on in the bathroom and a faint foul smell of sewage started coming from the bathroom. I was not and still am not sure if something was stuck in the fan which is why it wasn't working, or if it was the smell of whatever was clogging the bathtub and preventing it from draining. Needless to say, the fan was never turned back on during my stay, nor was another shower taken. I informed the front desk when I checked out, to which they said they will inform maintenance. I would believe the housekeeping staff and the maintenance crew should have already been aware of the condition of the room and should not have allowed any of what I witnessed to go uncorrected or unfixed. UNACCEPATABLE!!! This was the worst Hilton experience I have ever had.
