    1 Star – Treated Like Criminals While Stranded I’m a Hilton Gold member and stay with Hilton often. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. My girlfriend and I flew into Phoenix in the early morning hours on my birthday and discovered we had been scammed out of $600 through a fraudulent reservation number we found online. We arrived at Hampton Inn Phoenix Airport North (601 N 44th St) hoping for help. They had no rooms available — which I understand. What I don’t understand is the complete lack of empathy or assistance. The front desk offered zero help finding another hotel, no help with transportation, and barely responded when we asked basic questions like using the restroom. While we were outside trying to get an Uber or Lyft (which were unavailable at that hour), the security guard was rude, accused us of lying, and told us he called the police for “trespassing” — despite never telling us to leave first. We were calm, well-dressed, and simply stranded travelers with luggage. As a loyal Hilton customer, I expected professionalism and basic decency. Instead, we were treated like criminals. We ended up driving 45 minutes to Chandler to find a room. Compassion costs nothing.

    Decent hotel and rooms, lay out can be a bit challenging. Fire alarm 1st thing in the morning and the fact the staff was unable to silence for 15 minutes was unpleasant

    I really like this hotel microwave and refrigerator a working ice machine swimming pool breakfast in the morning which is pretty good how to use Hampton Inns as my standard

    The hotel building was old ,just the Ac was making loud noise ,other than that it was a decent stay here .location is very close to airport ,front desk staff were helpful .

    Waited 40 minutes for the hotel shuttle and called 3 times before I was able to reach someone at the hotel to hear that their shuttle was not working and they partnered with Lyft for shuttle to the airport/hotel Rooms are very basic bathtub was gross. Would not recommend or stay again.
