We stayed here for work. I did not get an opportunity to picture the room. The rooms are very spacious. We have two queen with a sofa area. They have a sink (no kitchenettes) and fridge. They offer free breakfast. The pool and hot tub is very clean and they have a great outdoor seating area. They have a basketball court. They offer small complimentary toiletries you may have forgotten. When being dropped off from the airport I questioned the area however, it was very safe and we never had any homeless or panhandlers near the property. We walked to the convention everyday and it was safe. There are areas you can cut across to get there quicker, these areas are safe and beautiful. There aren't many eating options near by. The closes convenience store is a circle k that doesn't feel very safe. We actually witnessed people stealing there. There are some bars in walking distance. On one side of downtown you have younger vibe bars and the other is more mature bars. There is a movie theater near by. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Not a bad place but other people staying there do not care about other people trying to sleep. Only care about themselves at 1am. Average hotel but the rooms were clean.

I had a terrible experience at that hotel. When I checked in they gave me a wrong room key. I didn’t realize it at the moment, but I ended up meeting other guest enterred room when lying on bed. Both of us experienced unpleasant situations, and I had to explain what was happening to me.
They took more than 30 minutes to figure out and find proper room. And I had to wait patiently for the process to complete.
Eventually, I had to move to the room that I had originally been assigned.
No pne apologized this event to me.
When I attempted to check out earlier, I had already checked out the previous night. The tall black man attempted to charge me more if I wanted to check out. He created a huge commotion and refused to apologize.

We stayed at the Best Western Downtown Phoenix for two nights while my husband was having surgery at the hospital nearby. The location was perfect—only about 5 minutes from the hospital—which made everything so much easier. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They really made a stressful time a lot more comfortable for us.
Yes, you do pay for parking, but it’s very reasonable compared to other hotels in downtown Phoenix. I also loved that they have a little marketplace with snacks and drinks, which was super convenient when we didn’t want to go out. Highly recommend this hotel, especially if you’re visiting the hospital or just need a nice, welcoming place to stay in downtown Phoenix!
