  Stayed here after a wedding because I needed to fly out of PHX. originally booked for 2 nights but due to a Delta flight change, we had to cancel the second night. Being an airport hotel I would assume they would have been understanding of this, but no. Informed me due to the last minute cancellation it was nonrefundable, transferred me to three different people totalling over an hour of being on the phone trying to get refunded. Did not get refund on second night because I used partial points but the points however, were refunded. Checked statement today and was charged with a $200 smoking charge??? Neither my partner nor I smoke. Spoke to "Mattie" the "only manager on duty" and she said my room sensor went off at 5AM??? Nothing lingering in the room or found during check out but a sensor at 5am alerting once. Wondering if this could have been steam from us showering or even my hairspray/perfumes while getting ready to leave for our flight. Mattie was very unhelpful as her only monotone and disingenuous reply was "since it's posted you have to dispute it". She said I could have been charged up to $500 for smoking so I asked "what was the determination of only $200 then" she said "I don't know they probably tried for $500 and only the $200 went through".....on a credit card with a 25k limit. Get real. Dispute made, calling GM Monday morning.

  Stayed here this past weekend for a conference and, unfortunately, I would not return. While the location near the airport is convenient and the guest services team was friendly, the hotel itself is in serious need of an update. The room was dusty, and the furniture was worn with noticeable damage. The hallways felt humid and had a musty smell, and the pool furniture was torn and outdated. For a property in this condition, the $100 daily incidental fee feels excessive. This hotel has potential, but in its current state, it was a disappointing experience.

  Being charged for things you were never clearly told about, or agreed to is frustrating enough, but having to go through the hassle of disputing it with my bank afterward? Completely unacceptable. This turned what should’ve been a simple stay into an unnecessary headache. Transparency with charges should be the bare minimum, and that standard wasn’t met here. Based on this experience alone, I wouldn’t return.

  I felt like I stepped back into the 90's. There is nothing updated about this hotel except for the Flat Screen TV, and thats still up for debate. USB port that was in the room, did not work. Mold and dirt on the AC unit. This hotel is best for location and thats it!!!

  The positive is that if you need a hotel close to PHX, this one is great because you can take the airport train to being within steps of the front door. The negative is that this hotel is severely dated and not worthy of the brand. Their website promotes a restaurant (with menus) that doesn't really exist. It's a room that is open for breakfast only and not lunch or dinner. When questioned, the front desk responded they don't program the web site. There is a weird lounge in the middle of the main hallway with some food and a small bar. The rooms are well-worn and our room had a toilet with the top lid cracked in half and literally glued together. Also, because of the proximity to the airport, there is nothing else around. There is a Panera across the street and a taco stand, but nothing more. If you want to get lunch or dinner, you'll need to leave the property by car. There are enough hotels in this area which are much better, nicer ,and less expensive. I'd suggest avoiding this hotel.
