If you're seeking a budget-friendly stay without sacrificing comfort, this spot is a hidden gem. The cost is surprisingly low for the area, making it an excellent value. My room had a charming, nostalgic vibe-nothing flashy, but spacious and very tidy. The atmosphere is quiet and unpretentious, which I really appreciated. Service was top-notch; the team is attentive and makes you feel right at home. A solid choice for travelers who prioritize genuine hospitality over expensive modern frills!

Its and old hotel my only real beef is that the tv did not have streaming capability. Lets face it there arw only real old people in Oro Valley that cant work modern technology well. Other than that the room and hotel were clean.

The WORST hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I’m 78 & done lots of traveling. Only main door working,Unclean room and bathroom, trash in shower stall, no place for charging, AC plugs worn out, broken furniture, no heat or fan in bathroom, beyond horrible breakfast selection, tiny TV with no infrared remote, fridge wasn’t cold. 2 nights $604 DO NOT GO THERE

I stayed at this Holiday Inn Express in Oro Valley and had a very upsetting experience. During my stay in room 309, I woke up during the night and found and killed a blood-filled bed bug. I immediately reported it to the front desk manager, Adam, and was moved to another room. While the manager refunded the two nights I stayed in the infested room, this should not be considered compensation — guests should never be charged to sleep in a room with bed bugs in the first place. I was still bitten, my boyfriend was bitten, and we were left dealing with the stress, anxiety, and extensive cleanup required to prevent bringing bed bugs home. Days I stayed Jan 26,27,28 of 2026 this is just a few pictures from my boyfriend‘s body. I have a lot more than he does. The Manager was Adam that I spoke with. This hotel is in an amazing location, but it is absolutely filthy. Don’t be fooled by location and brand name. This is the pillowcase where I killed the bedbug on. You can see the blood smear. Also, the window is the kitchen window ledge towards the front of the building. I don’t believe that their kitchen would pass a health inspection.
