Nice rooms but this property was built as a timeshare resort where families share a large unit with a connecting door. Walls are paper thin. Not typical solid wood blocks like regular hotels. I could hear EVERYTHING my neighbors were doing and let me tell you, I didn’t need to hear most of it. :-/

ROOMS NOT READY UNTIL 9pm FRONT DESK GIRL RENDEZVOUS W BOYFRIEND 100% NOT a resort. I love nothing more than giving a good review to a place but this one star was earned big time. It’s a GOOD chance the 5 star reviews on booking sites are hand picked by the property, it’s all a lie. Booked my cousin a room for a few weeks. He was coming 500 mi running late, so at 5pm I called to let them know, NO worries! He’s all set! -Arrived at 6pm and WAITED 4 HOURS FOR A CLEAN ROOM. -He requested housekeeping they said $25 or free 7th day, he’d been there 8-9 days. We extended the booking, girl@ desk asked for his ID despite it being on file. Came back w/ ID in less than 5min, girl was gone. He stood there for 25ish min, only for her to appear from a door w/ a male- very clearly flustered and he kissed her and drove off. What was she doing? IDK but she surely was defensive when he asked why she left after asking him to come right back. I already tried reaching out to management about waiting five hours for a room that was confirmed and paid for. Still waiting on a callback, it’s been 2 weeks. Maybe now they’ll reach out 😆

Our experience at the Westgate Mountain Golf Resort in Arizona was deeply disappointing. My husband and I have previously stayed at Westgate properties in Las Vegas and Orlando, both of which were exceptional. Unfortunately, this location did not meet the standards we have come to expect from Westgate. We stayed at the resort from May 23–27 while attending my nephew’s graduation, choosing this property for its convenience. Upon arrival, we checked in and immediately went to my sister’s home to spend time with family, so we did not have the opportunity to inspect the room right away. Although our stay was only four days, we upgraded to a king room to ensure a separate living area and additional space. When we returned to the room that evening, we were shocked to find that it had not been properly cleaned. The bed was not made—housekeeping had simply thrown the duvet over the mattress—and overall the room was in unacceptable condition. We contacted the front desk to request assistance with changing the bed, only to be told that housekeeping had already left for the day. We were informed that our only options were to either move to another room or change the bedding ourselves. As we had already unpacked and were tired, we chose to stay. A front desk staff member brought clean sheets and came to the room. We invited her in so she could see the condition of the bed for herself. As we stripped the bedding, we discovered that every layer—including the mattress cover and mattress—was extremely dirty with large stains. Despite witnessing this, she reiterated that our only option was to change the sheets ourselves or pack up and relocate. What was meant to be a relaxing family trip instead became one of the worst vacation experiences we have ever had. The following day, we contacted the front desk again and were told that housekeeping leaves at a certain time and that someone would reach out to address our concerns. No one contacted us until the final day of our stay—while we were visiting the Grand Canyon—offering to transfer us to another room. Based on this experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this resort to anyone.
