We had a bit of a hiccup with our reservation. We reserved the captains suite and got a call the day before starting that the room was unavailable... Huge bummer since we were bringing our boat and docking it directly in front of our room. We ended up not bringing the boat because the other room was on the other side of the resort which was very unfortunate. However, I am giving a fantastic review because the customer service when we arrived was absolutely second to none! Britton was so kind and had top notch customer service. She made sure we got the best room that was available and she seemed genuinely empathetic. It's a beautiful place and I am very excited to be spending my 45th birthday here with my husband, my daughter and her husband, and our three grandchildren. We are currently relaxing on the beach and feeding bread to the ducks after having delicious appetizers and drinks at the Turtle Grille. Gary from security was above and beyond friendly. The fire pit is beautiful BUT they have no chairs... Sad face!!! He offered to go track some down for us. We declined but instantly regretted it lol... Update... No surprise that they are going above and beyond once again. They called to let us know that they will be putting out chairs today at the fire pit. EXCELLENT SERVICE!!

The location is great right on Lake Havasu. Unfortunately, the place was overrun for the weekend with college students who took over the beach, blasted music late into evening outside (see photo), and property did nothing to contain the problem so others could enjoy their stay. Breakfast was actually great (we did not eat any other meals here) and so were watersports. We rented a boat both days to get away from the chaos. Also on two days at random times our room stank of waste. There was clearly a waste line nearby and it seemed to get pulled into room by the air conditioner. It's kind of a shame because it otherwise could have been a nice couple of days.

We’ve always loved coming here every time we visit Lake Havasu. It’s been our go-to spot to relax by the pool, enjoy great food, and spend the afternoon — we typically spend a couple hundred dollars (if not more) every visit on food and drinks.
Unfortunately, this visit was a huge disappointment. The new GM has decided that no one under 21 is allowed at the pool. I can understand setting limits for older teens or party crowds, but we were turned away because of our one-year-old daughter. That’s really unfortunate for families who have supported this place for years.
We always loved the atmosphere and the service before, but sadly, we won’t be back unless they reconsider this policy. It’s a shame to see a family-friendly spot become so unwelcoming to actual families.

FAMILY TRIP RUINED BY SEWAGE SMELL AND POOR SERVICE.
We were excited to make this our family’s go-to spot in Havasu, but this last stay was awful.
First, our room had a horrendous sewage smell that hit like a brick wall. Instead of moving us or even checking it out, they sent maintenance with a 2-liter bottle of bright blue liquid labeled “smell good.” No idea what chemicals we slept with that night. Two nights later, the same smell came back, and the front desk literally said, “Captain’s room needs blue bottle again.” My daughter’s asthma flared up and we had a miserable night.
Then I accidentally left my slalom ski on the beach. I called as soon as I got home (5 hours away) and told them exactly where it was — right in front of parking spot 13 on the bay cove. Twice I was told “nobody turned it in,” and nobody would even go look. I had a friend in Havasu check later that evening, and sure enough, my ski was still sitting right where I said.
Mistakes happen, but the lack of care, effort, or basic customer service here is disappointing. After three years of visiting, we’ll be finding a new place to stay.
