The chain to lock the door was too short so there was no way to secure the room further. No high chairs at breakfast are a major inconvenience. There were two other families also struggling with little kids. A few high chairs need to be bought asap.

I drove an extra couple of hours that day to make it to this "pet friendly" hotel. The guy at the desk who made my reservation over the phone was friendly and helpful. When I got there, he asked me to put my dog outside the door because they aren't allowed in the lobby. (She was on a leash, it was late at night with no one around, and I was not going to just put her out a door!) I did mention this to the guy at check out and he was surprised and said that was not the case. Hopefully they address that so it is easier for other dog owners! The only other unfortunate thing was that my room was about as far from the dog walking area as possible, but that was not the fault of the hotel as I booked last minute. Just noting here so people can know to request a room closer to the dog area when they are booking.
