Check-in began at 3:00 PM, and by 3:24 PM I received a cancellation notice claiming “non-payment.” Through Booking.com, I had the benefit of “Pay at Property”. When I called, I was told the room had already been given away. We were literally on our way to check-in! The front desk staff offered no assistance, no alternatives, and brushed me off as if this were a large town with plenty of other options—when in reality, Heber has very limited accommodations. I believe the hotel overbooked on a holiday weekend and then chose to cancel my reservation simply because I booked through a third-party site. As a result, my group was left stranded with nowhere to stay despite planning ahead. We had to drive back to Phoenix. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the Best Western brand. Guests should not be penalized for using Booking.com, nor should a confirmed reservation be disregarded minutes after check-in time begins. Travelers: be aware of how this property handles reservations.

Specifically told him customer service person I’m charging an hour for 2-3 days, is that fine? She personally said yes. This guy continuously argues over and over about it’s a one time, this and that, and got mad because his electric system didn’t have the adequate charge for a Tesla. Nonetheless, no chance in hell unless if you need to stay here in heber, you should stay away from renting a place here. These guys have zero values or principles. More negative reviews are coming I assure you.
