  Great huge, very comfortable beds, & the staff were pretty friendly. Location could be better, but it was convenient. Rooms were pretty good as well, spacious.

  After booking.com did not send my reservation to Thunderbird Lodge, I scrambled to find a place for my family and I to stay for the night. I went here and immediately was greeted by Diego. I told him what happened and he not only booked us a room but used his own employee discount to help us get into a room since we were out so much money already. Im not sure what we would have done otherwise. Thank you, Diego! You saved our trip. The room was very clean and quiet. Just what you would expect with a Holiday Inn.

  First of all let me say, I've sat on this for a few days and gave myself the required time to recoup my thought process and not come off so bothered.. My girlfriends and had the beautiful opportunity to stay a few nights in Chinle, AZ. The first night was great. We camped at the local campground. The second night we decided to stay at the Holiday Inn after speaking to some locals. We thought it'd be nice to sleep in a big comfy bed and have a nice hot shower. Everything in and out and around that property was absolutely beautiful... The lobby was clean, the rooms were AMAZING, clean and neat.. (ALSO SMELLED SO FRESH) outside was just as nice and beautiful! BUT, the staff did not meet the beauty this place had to offer.. We had dinner that night and our Hostess (I couldnt even begin tell you her name as she didnt introduce herself) Upon entering we were not at all greeted and honestly didnt know there was a couple ahead of us, when she came back to tell them "its going to be a verrrrrrry long wait!" They agreed she sat them and came back to us.. not even a simple "hello" or "how are ya?" So I asked how long the wait was and she IGNORED ME!! Ok cool, sitting us down.. Anyway me and my girlfriends are sitting there waiting and waiting and waiting aaaaaand waiting.. This girl would death stare us and anyone else who needed something or basically glance her way... It was cold ugly and a very unwelcoming experience. The only person who acknowledged us was a young man in a black hat.. I was later told by another staff member his name is Dwayne. The ONLY person who had a smile for us..

  It was fine. A little pricey, but workable. Seems to be stuck in 2020 with all the covid signage around.

  Clean, friendly, and affordable, this is a solid option for a hotel while you're visit the canyon. Didn't try the food, so I can't speak to it. The restaurant hours are pretty limited and there aren't a lot of other options in the city, so plan ahead.
