    I made my reservations on 4/20/2026 via the IHG app, checking in May 2, 2026 checking out May 3, 2026. I reserved a suite with two queen beds and a fold out couch. The reservation was for 2 adults and 2 teens - 15yo and 12 yo. Confirmation received. The morning of May 2, 2026 at 8:01am. It was a female. Did not provide a name nor was there any indication that she was the manager. She shared that they are booked and the room type selected was not avaliable. She only had king size beds available. I asked if she had two roll away beds and she said yes. I said that shouldn't be a problem just as long as we have the two roll away beds. She said she would still work on finding or figuring out to make our original room work. I said king is fine as long as I have 2 roll away beds. She asked my children's ages and I again shared 15 yo and 12 yo. She said ok. She mentioned something about the papermill being shut down and the workers have had to stay there. The call lasted approximately 3 minutes and 4 seconds. There was indication that I would not have a room when I arrived. After a 5 hour drive we arrive to the hotel at approximately 6:30pm. I went to the front desk. A gentleman by the name of Jaden, I believe, young man greeted us and proceeded to get checked in. He asked for my ID, which I provided. He said they were booked. A bunch or railroad employees have been staying there all week. I shared that i should have a king bed room with two roll away beds. He got us checked in and went to the back to get the roll away beds. He helped another gentleman with his question, then was going to help us with the beds. I asked where are the sheets, he would get them for us. But wait for it...the roll away beds were baby cribs. I shared with him these are baby cribs. He said that is all he had. My husband and children 15 yo and 12 yo were all with me. I asked how in the world will my children going to fit in baby cribs. He apologized profusely. I asked to speak to the manager. He tried the manager, Kesha Johnson (sp?). He tried once, no answer. Jaden proceeded to check in another group of 3 in front of me and I asked how did they have a room after we had already tried to check in. They were not with the worker group. I asked what room type did they have. He said he could not share that confidential information. I offered another solution of two king bed rooms but not being doubled charged, he said there were no rooms available. He said he resolved our situation and canceled our reservation and refunded our money. I said no. That is not a resolution, I had a reservation. I asked to speak to his manager. He went back into the back room to try his manager again. He came back after about being gone about 2 minutes or less. He said that his manager gave me a " courtesy call" this morning to shared they were booked. I said yes she did call and we agreed to a king bed and 2 roll away beds. The beds he provided were baby cribs. I asked if he shared that with his manager and he said yes. Sadly the manager put her employee in a terrible situation and he was not competent enough to handle the situation. He said he handled our situation and the refund and room cancelation was done. The issue is we selected this location for a reason and now we don't have another option for 4 hours. This location was the half way point of our final destination. I am utterly disgusted by this situation and the lack of professionalism for a confirmed reservation. I would not recommend this IHG location to anyone. In fact I am highly considering canceling my membership and not staying at another IHG again. I escalated it to IHG chat and a manager named "Fred" who escalated this scenario to executive level. He also said that he talked with the manager and she would call us back with a resolution. We never got a call back. Shocking. Frustrating and unacceptable. Again the phone call at 8:01am on May 2,1026 gave no indication I would not have a room. 3 minutes until midnight on May 2,2026 we found a Hampton Inn in Greenwood, MS.

    I came from Iowa to visit a friend and brought my Emotional Support Kitty with me...I stay at Holiday Inn Express Hotels ALL THE TIME but the ENTIRE STAFF at this Hotel have gone above and beyond to accommodate my needs and requests. I highly recommend staying at this place if you are visiting in White Hall, AR. They made my stay awesome!!! Thank you so much!!!

    Kyke made our morning amazing. In my 51 years, I have never had such an incredible experience at a hotel. You just don’t get better than this upon sharing this with the manager, Robin, I could see that it was a culture thing here at this Holiday Inn express it was clearly the entire staff that was awesome. You can’t make this stuff up service like this does not improve. It should trickle down to the rest of the company, absolutely amazing!

    Staying here was great. Even though my group and I only stayed one night, we had a wonderful experience. Joshua was at the desk, he welcomed us and made the check in experience easy and quick. The rooms are cleaned and well stocked. The next morning, our breakfast experience was great. The breakfast are was kept clean and neat and staff were ready and available to offer assistance. Ms. Robin was there to help us check out that morning and she made the whole experience quick and easy. She doubled checked and made sure that everything had gone well with our stay. Our stay here was great from beginning to end.

    My family arrived a before check in time for a funeral, needing our 3 rooms. All of us had traveled at least 500 miles and needed to change into appropriate clothes. Kasey at the front desk was very helpful - getting us into rooms so we could get ready. The housekeeping staff quickly worked to complete the needed rooms changeover. Rooms and the overall hotel is very clean. Every staff member in the hotel was cordial and helpful. I stay in hotels often (100 nights per year) and this is one of the best. Gladys was taking care of breakfast, which was very good - and went out of her way to help a handicap guest to load a plate and take it to their table.
