- MMMauraFeb 11, 20265.0I stayed at the Avid/Candlewood Suites last night, and this was my first time at an Avid hotel. The property appears to be quite new, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location in West Memphis is very convenient, right next to the freeway, with a Cracker Barrel restaurant just steps away. The lighting in the room was excellent for both work and reading. The room was very quiet. There is also a convenient market kiosk in the lobby to purchase drinks and snacks. My only criticism is that the breakfast area design is somewhat confusing. It is located in the lobby rather than in a clearly designated space or room, and when entering the area, the plates and hot food are positioned farthest from the entrance rather than near where guests walk in. The food was good, but there was limited choices. The staff was excellent—special thanks to Connie Phillips for providing outstanding customer service.

The air comes on despite you setting the temp at 80 , froze most of the night. It's 41 degrees outside on Thanksgiving day. Just here for the location. Check In was smooth,gym is small. Pool is outside but it was actually open
